My sim only account with T mobile finishes soon. I am happy to stay as I am with them for another 12 months. Do I have to phone them to get another sim for 12 months or can I get a new sim and contract from their web page like I did last year?. Thanks.

Your contract just continues, you don't have to do anything.

I see but it was only a 12 month contract. So does this mean if I do nothing my contract just continues? Don't I have to phone them to say I want to carry on?

It's a MINIMUM 12 month contract,not a MAXIMUM 12 month contract.

The contract does not end when the 12 months are up. It keeps going for ever or until you ask for it to be terminated. So if you don't want the contract to end you simply do nothing, T Mobile will keep billing you and you will keep paying them.

It will carry on as it is now on a month by month basis until you choose to cancel it.
If you are on a tariff that has a discount then this may expire at the end of the 12 months, but I'm not sure if that applies in your case.

You may want to see what T-Mobile's current prices are because it may be that they're less than you're paying now so renewing for 12 months on a new tariff would work out cheaper. Give 150 a call and speak with upgrades (or even disconnections as they have the power to give discounts).

Thanks all. I'm on the cheapest sim only contract they had last year £8. I see when looking just now that the cheapest sim only contract is £9. So if I do nothing wi;ll I still be £8?

As long as the contract was for £8 a month, yes, but if it was for £x a month with a discount for 12 months to bring it down to £8 (something T-Mobile sometimes do) then it could lose the discount and become the full £x a month.

Check your contract...

This may not apply as many T-Mobile tariffs have been phased out by EE......but existing ones can continue!
