Hardly the first time that a long term HM has said such a thing when a new HM has survived over another long term HM. All the rumours and gossip surrounding Pav hasn't helped either, plus I'm sure the negative crowd response has done even more harm to any chance Pav had of being accepted by the other HMs.

I've found Chris's behaviour strange all week, how he nearly cried when he thought Helen dealt with the power alliance revel well, and how he's seemed to take Helen's lead on being suspicious of the newbies. It's really letting him down to be honest...

This is shocking. Chris was one of my early favourites, but have gone right off him now, especially because of all the sucking up to Helen.

Article here:

Pavandeep Paul comes under attack from his fellow BBUK housemates in tonight’s show after avoiding eviction.

Despite nominating Steven Goode first, and branding him “an absolute plonker of a human being” just before his eviction, Chris R Wright turns on Pav after he survives the public vote.

He tells Ash he doesn’t think it’s fair that Steven has gone over new Housemates Pav and Zoe and brands Pav “a prick” (“in my opinion”)

Power Alliance leader Ashleigh meanwhile remarks that “it should have been Pav” who left in the live show.

She and Chris discuss putting Steven up for nomination with Zoe and Ashleigh admits she “keeps welling up” about their decision, especially when she sees Helen Wood crying.

Later on, Helen and Chris bond as she reflects on her journey (sound the reality telly cliche gong!).

“I came here thinking I wasn’t judgemental…what a load of sh*t! Look back at what an absolute tw*t I made out of myself…I don’t want to be that person,” she says.

Helen’s story makes Chris cry as he admits that he feels she is the only person to go on a journey in the House and admits that he worries what she thinks about him all the time, adding, “you’re pretty much the reason why I’m here””

Presumably you were also shocked by unremittingly Helen's foul language and that of her cronies?

Due to the restrictions posed by the forum, I wish that I could "really" voice my opinion. However, all I will say is ..."where's the sheep at?!?"

Little Chris, dude, seriously grow a pair and stop behaving strategically 'cos you ain't gonna win, period!!!!!!!

Peace y'all

Pav knows that he is more popular than Steven which must have boosted him.

The was all very odd. Perhaps he's finally cracking up because of all the nonsense that goes on in there?

...and on what basis you are presenting this comment?!?

Please, think independently and not governed by the house. Which, in my view is totally in the gutter right now!

I hope so. If he keeps his cool he can do some psychological judo and turn the paranoia of certain HMs against themselves and they will end up hurting themselves by trying to attack him.

Chris Chris Chris. Tut tut. What am I going to do with you huh? I had hopes, only to see them cruelly dashed, like a ship adrift on the rocks.

*shakes head sadly*.

There is still time to rescue the ship. More 'abandoned car' type stuff, less insults to 'the thinking wo/man's HM', please eh Little Chris. There's far bigger fish to fry, but he needs to get back on track and quick smart.

I blame the love triangle.

Chris was one of my top 3 but I've really gone off him in the same way and for the same reasons I went off Jale.

It's Christopher or Ashleigh for me now and I might even get to like Pav if the originals keep picking on him. As far as I can see he hasn't done anything to warrant that sort of treatment

I'd say he has no idea how he is coming across, for the first few weeks he relied heavily on his acting skills and managed to pull it off for most, because most just listen to what's said, and take no notice of the facial expressions or the body movements as they say it. I think you need to do both to get a real insight into a person, a person will most times give themselves away by their eyes. (Those sayings that have been around for years and years are mostly true, "the eyes are the windows to the soul" "if someone can't look you in the eyes while talking to you, then you generally can't trust them" etc etc. If you have ever noticed, 99 times out of a hundred, serial killers have no expression in their eyes, they always look cold and dead, like snake's eyes). Anyway, I digress lol, back to your post. I find Danielle, Ashleigh, Chris, Toya and Matthew to be much of a muchness, I wouldn't trust any of them as a friend as far as I could throw them, which is why, much as her behaviour isn't wonderful a lot of the time, I will stick up for Helen when required, as I think she would actually be a friend that would have your back no matter what, unless you actually did something to stab her in the back. That's why she blows up every time she thinks they are getting along and then finds out they've been at it again.

The common factor is Ashleigh. Self-separating negative twosomes - Ashleigh and Toya, Ashleigh and Danielle, Ashleigh and Chris.

He's allowed his own opinion. He's allowed to like one person at one time and then dislike them later on, same goes for not liking someone if he feels they've changed.

What you got to remember is they're just in a house together 24/7 for 10 or so weeks and what we see is a very edited 42 minute show. Certain bits can be edited in a bad context than how it actually should be to make that person look bad.

Yes I know what you mean. Good post BTW. Agree with you about Helen too.

Very true. It always does seem to be down to twosomes. Christopher is the only one that they all seem to say is a friend, but has pretty much kept out of the gossip or bitching, whatever way you want to look at it.

Hate to say I told you so. Oh, no I don't. Funny how no one minded Chris's vitriol when it agreed with their own despicable opinions.

How it's two faced when he never liked Pav. It's like when people were calling Ashleigh two faced when she bitched about Helen but they all knew she didn't like her. Helen is the most two faced, the way she sucked up to Christopher but when he didn't give her to a pass to a part she went ape shit on him. Same with the way she treated Jale.

Pav chose Chris as the most 2 faced in a task. He was clearly bewildered as who to chose and following Helen was probably the best choice damage limitation wise. He hasn't called Chris anything bad or suggested anything negative about him at all other than during this task.

Chris has actually demonstrated his 2 faced attitude in spades. He nominated Ash and Steven, apparently his 2 best friends prior to nominating his apparent enemy, Pav. He has called just about everyone in there something nasty or inferred something bad but cozies up to them as soon as and whenever he can.

He's also show he's spiteful and nasty just like his new best friends Helen and Ash and his wannabe girl friend Ashleigh by joining in with alienating and abusing a HM because why The HM's entry VT. Can he really not remember back to when he entered the House

This is so much how I feel. It was the fact he NEVER actually stood up for anyone despite so many saying he was there for Jale that put me off him very early on. I appreciate he didn't have to but what else does he have to offer otherwise Pithy diary room entries. It's like a whole load of talk and no substance.

Even when the HM despised the long termer that left and was almost single handedly responsible for putting him up Sorry for the hackneyed worn out BB cliche but Chris IS playing a game. His game is sucking up to and massaging the ego of all and sundry HMs to their face whilst pointing out their faults at every opportunity in the diary room. Unfortunately for him Pav came in and upset his apple cart and he's chosen to join in with the nastiness. He's let himself down and he'll pay the price.
