i was so praising him as he summed up that silly man steven in the diary room he was so spot on but then he goes and ruins it by pretending to be upset about him leaving when he clearly isnt, and to top it up he is now being so horrible about pav bitching about him to the very people he claims he dislikes what a lying two faced man he is, it proper annoys me how is loved simply because he is unnatractive and older than the rest, thats cleasrly the reason he is loved on ds.

He is playing the game, so he isn't nominated next week.

Slagging him off in the Diary Room but then weeping his departure for Helen and Ash's benefit. I guess there is a reason people keep calling him two faced after all.

I think he is playing the game - as he should.

He knows Helen, Ash and their gang are probably going to nominate him, and the only thing he can do to try and redeem himself with them is to pretend he is sorry to see him go. I think he is nice enough to feel a bit guilty, but I doubt that he regrets it.

We owe Chris, if he hadn't nominated Pauline in week 2 she would still be there, and now him and Ashleigh have got rid of Steve. for that he deserves to be in the top three.

But the thing is….. WE KNOW he does not mean it at all…. WE KNOW all he is doing is a major PNP session !!! He had to. !!! What choice did he have. Ash and Helen's bezzie had just been dumped out the door, and Chris and Ashleigh were responsible. Who would they gun for at the next vote. All he is doing is making an attempt to steer them in another direction. It may or may not work…. but at least he tried !!!!!

I actually think at this stage the oldies will gel together and attempt to get rid of the newbies. The money is too close now.

Ohhh Ohhh now he is crying in front of Helen and praising her !!!! LOLOLOLOLOL
Well done lad…… trying to get them both on side before noms !!!

Chris is two faced because hes scared of being disliked by the other housemates. He's doing it to survive and to get on..

The only problem is it's wrecking his chances of winning and if anything he is going to make things worse for himself in that house by being like that.

It's a gameshow, the public understands that now.

Chris is liked, he is currently winning Helen around...that should be admired.

Isn't that the nature of the game?

Do you think he'd be better off making enemies and getting other HM's against him?

People are looking at this completely wrong.

Everyone always says they don't mind a game plan as long as we are told and kept informed.

Chris is doing exactly that and everyone's complaining it's two faced.

He's letting us know the truth then he's going out to play the game, which includes having to suck up to people who may nominate him.

Make your minds up.

I think it's some weird form of Stockholm Syndrome. Chris perceives Helen, Steven and Ash as the more powerful group and is looking for their approval even though he doesn't really like them.

I have never understood the love for Chris.

To me he is one of the most calculated and manipulative people in there.

Half the time it's like he is reading from a script. He says the things most of the time that he thinks people want to hear.

He said very clearly he was conflicted. Conflicted is when a person has two sets of feeling at the same time. Two sets of feelings that are diametrically opposed to one another. When this happens its like an emotional war going on within. Tears are a very natural, normal and real reaction to that inner turmoil.

Ashleigh also expressed similar feelings. She wanted Steven to go but felt bad and a certain injustice that he went.

Perfectly reasonable in my opinion.

Hmm, interesting. I see it as a weakness in him rather than a strength. If Chris went into the diary room and told us that he was going to suck up to them, then we may be more on his side - at the moment he 's just looking like a complete hypocrite to me.

However, if you're right and he's just playing the game, good luck to him.

I can understand him playing the game to not be one of the chosen noms by Helen's group. But it does come a bit much when we all know he's never really liked Stephen and still doesn't. I get maybe showing a bit of remorse, but going for some sort of two faced Oscar wasn't really called for!
