Mark has made me laugh a lot this series, silly things like when the other guys bombed him in the pool and his hair got wet but the way he is treating Christopher has put me off him.

Mark often asks what words mean but when he is the Diary Room he often uses 'big words'

His game plan to is to pretend to be Psychic. It's so contrived and ridiculous and it makes me laugh, but not in a good way.

He is so annoying and his feigning low intelligence is so tired and insults the audience's intelligence.

'Escape goat' C'mon! We watched BB before too.

And he doesn't know what 'unpredictable' means? As a psychic?

He's a bully. That's all that needs to be said.

I can't remember Mark making me laugh, but he's certainly given me the creeps more than anyone else this series. As embarrassing as some of the Steverly clips were, it never seemed like he was actively trying to humiliate her. Not so with Mark and Christopher. I'm not sure who looks worse now. Mark, for doing whatever he can, whenever he can to get his oily tentacles into Christopher's brain, or Christopher for not telling the odious little martinet to back, or ideally f***. off.

As it is, it's not hard to picture the two of them with a magazine deal in a month or two's time. It's just that it might be a 'special' magazine, Mark dragging round Christopher on all fours on a lead in Torture Garden or wherever, while Christopher raises his eyebrows 'long-sufferingly' at the camera.

'He's always asking me to do this sort of thing ...'

'Fookin' stop tha'! Eyebrows are my fookin' thing, Christopher! Just wait till I get yer home! Yer can foge' about the bed, it's the fookin' kennel for you tonight!'

'In this relationship, I am always in the dog house ...'

'Shoor up! I'm only tryin' to fookin' protect yer! And we're nor in a fookin' relationship anyway, Christopher!'

'I see.'

'Good. Now lick me fookin' trainers clean!'

Etc.

Am I alone in finding the thought of Mark and Christopher 'dating' in the real world, without 24/7 TV surveillance, somewhat horrifying?

You are not alone in thinking that, hopefully Christopher will have some sense when he gets out of the Big Brother House.

Mark is a vapid harpy

He said he takes his psychic abilities very seriously & that he is not a nasty person.... I found both those comments highly amusing

Well I have to admit I've laughed at Mark....especially when he tries to do other accents and they're all laced with Scouse........

I have found Mark cringe worthy since day one, and I find him as funny as a wet weekend.
If he makes the final I hope he is second out after Helen....

There's no doubt Mark would've though we would all have been pissing ourselves at his DR antics (eg "escape goat", "conservatory party"). I can see him imagining people talking about it the next day to their friends.

- "Did you see that Mark on Big Brother on last night? He's so funny!"
- "I know, I was tears laughing at him!"

Alas, NO. He's about as funny as a ruptured haemorrhoid.
I've said it since Day 1 - the guy is one of the phoniest most attention-seeking and fame hungry f***wits ever to appear on the show.

The problem with this is, most of us *know* he's not trying, and he *knows* it too... It's all an act, and not endearing for me in the slightest

That was one of the most contrived things I've ever seen.

agreed

Mark has never uttered one thing that could be described as funny by anyone of sound mind, and if he did ever say anything funny, he will have stolen it from a previous reality show contestant, so it wouldn't count

Totally with you on that Addisonian. It's almost more cringey to watch him put that kind of stuff on that it was watching Steven.

Almost.

he won't say anything that's funny to you if you hate him as this forum does but according to the house he's the funniest in there,
i think he's hilarious btw

-I don't hate him or any other reality tv show contestant.

-The judgement of the people in the house especially re humour is not something I will place too much credence in

-I find nothing about him amusing, let alone hilarious- he's a fake, and not even a convincing one. If he was doing it tongue in cheek, I might give him more of a pass (although he still wouldn't be funny)

-The end

as i said your hatred will always cloud your judgement and as we see only 40 minutes a day and they are with him 24 hours a day i know who i will go with on this one,

And as I said, I don't have hatred. Make love war and all that jazz.

My judgement is as clear as yours or anyone else's based on a highly edited reality tv show. Perhaps it is your judgement that prays for clearer skies.

No idea what you mean when you talk about 'who you'd go with' or what that has to do with the price of bread to be honest.
Perhaps this is Mark level/ type humour and much like the er, 'hilarity' that come from the great man himself, it has completely passed me by.

Yes Mark has made me laugh probably the most out of everyone in the house he's not my favourite housemate and I admit he's not coming across to great with this whole Christopher thing but I still find him hilarious .

The world? That post? Me ever talking about the totally not amusing in any way shape or form Mark? Which one is it? You have made the somewhat foolish leap to assume stuff here, haven;t you?.

This assumption is your undoing here young padawan.
