I see you find pretty mundane and/ or non funny things, funny.

I guess this explains the Mark stuff.

I'm not a fan of his, but he has had his moments where he has amused me. I think he is trying to do a Brian Belo and I couldn't stand him.

I'm not sure you understand what constitutes a Smart Alec... or humour for that matter.

The end.

(or is it....).

He's hilarious. He's the only funny one in there. All the others are boring and unfunny.

I thought his little Mariah Carey/Zoe/Usain Bolt rant was fairly funny, to be fair to him. Usually though, no - way too contrived. The minute he started with the 'iiii'm nor 'avin' this' nonsense the night he got the 5k I had his card marked.

So he's not just totally bereft of humour but a total asshole as well.

Not looking good for Mark fans it has to be said...

He is, but I think Christopher is starting to see the light. If you saw the latest videos of him, which you surely did, the first one (which I did find hysterical, Helen telling Mark the truth) shows Christopher incapable of hiding his laughter as he laughs AT Mark (rather than with him), and again in the kitchen, he hardly seems able to take Mark seriously.

Along with Christopher's remarks about Mark probably being a nightmare outside the house, I think he's figuring Mark out... slowly but surely Seems to take Christopher a while

He tries too hard to appear funny and most of the time it comes over looking staged. He is far too aware of the cameras and his whole big brother persona isn't genuine. He has without doubt gone in there with this act thinking it will win it for him. It may have been successful in big brothers of the past but it's been done too many times now.

he was dead funny when he said escape goat , 'cos like it sounds like scapegoat but 'cos he thought it was escape .... and ... it's like a word that sounds like another word , but its a different word ...

aaah , cracked me up , we were all talking about it , and then he did it again a few days later , just accidenatlly spontaneously , what a character .

Much as I don't like the gimp, I did think that the first of the videos yesterday about his psychic powers was hilarious - the noise he made when breathing in the "herb called sage" / "pick a number between 1 and 4" - "ok" "is it 2 ?" "no it's not" "oh" / "Think of an animal with four legs... preferably grey skin... and big ears" / "I want you think of a famous ship ...that sank!"

Of course it's all contrived and he well and truly managed to kill any humour in it with the car-crash that followed (and we'll see on todays highlights) but I do have to credit him for his deadpan delivery.

I did think it was hysterical especially because Christopher seemed happy to laugh at Mark to his face

I cannot deny Mark's made me laugh quite a lot this series, like him or not it's been light relief in comparison to the high drama we have had at times (rather than the contrived dramatics from Mark ) and I do think it's possible to laugh at a HM even if you don't particularly like them.

No because I am constantly aware everything he does is contrived.
