everyone got an impression of the Barry's as soon as they arrived. They just assumed that the family were bad news, full of troubled past and mischief etc. I thought it would be fun to do a Roleplay of the family background starting from the Barry's kids being born, their childhood up until now. Including everything that's happened in the past that has made them who they are now

Carol Barry was 26 weeks pregnant with her first child.

Carol and Neil had a rocky relationship.

But they had agreed to push their differences aside whilst Carol was pregnant. They have recently found out they are expecting a boy. Carol was escorted to become a mum.

Neil was with her. Carol was in labour.

He wasn't very supportive during the birth though

"Neil, I can't do this!!" Carol said in agonising pain.

It was a terrible time. The baby was 10 weeks premature.

"Stop being a wuss Carol." Neil snapped.
"He's too early!!!" Carol cried.

Carol cried. Soon the baby was delivered, Carol waited for a cry...it never came.

"My baby....is he okay.....tell me he's ok..'

"We just need to give him some help but please try not to worry!" The midwife reassured her.
"Neil!!" Carol cried.

Carol watched as her baby was placed in an incubator. He was tiny. She watched as nurses tried to clear his airways. Eventually a shrill cry was heard.

She breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh thank god!!" She exclaimed.
"I better get going then." Neil grunted.
Carol was shocked. "why???"

"He's here isn't he?" Neil groaned
"Our son has just been born prematurely, you can't just leave...we haven't even named him"

"Let's just name him Barry. Now I'm going, like it or not. And you will follow if you know what's best for you!" Neil snapped.
"I can't just leave him!!! He's our son!!!" Carol exclaimed.

"I'm going to the pub!! Do what ever you like!!" Neil snapped, he knew he would get used to being a dad at some point but the only thing on his mind now was a cold pint.

Carol looked over to her little baby in the incubator. She wouldn't leave him, she couldn't.

She went and sat by him.

"I'm your mummy.." She soothed

She held his little hand through the incubator.

A nurse approached her "have you got a name for the little one yet?"

"Barry." Carol smiled.

"Barry Barry? Very unusual.." The nurse smiled
"Barry Scott Barry," Carol corrected her. "I think it suits him"

The nurse nodded

Neil was getting drunk in the pub

Carol continued to sit by her newborn son.
