Can anyone recommend a suitable TV stand ?

Hi all,

I am after a new TV stand as my current one was built for my old 50" DLP television which I no longer have. I am after something that has enough shelves for

42" LCD
Sky Box
PS3
Denon AV Receiver (W434mm x D330mm x H167mm)
CD Player separate, which I will be getting in the near future

Even tho my current TV stand pictured here , holds all of my current dvd's & Blurays, I will be getting a separate shelf unit to hold them.

If anyone here can suggest anything suitable, then that would be great, if there is a unit with castors to make it easier to hoover behind, then that would be even better . I haven't got any pricing set in mind, but I cannot afford hundreds for one.

Many thanks

Richer Sounds do an excellent one for £59.95. It is called a TVS42. It should swallow all that gear well enough, is easy to assemble, strong and looks good. I have one. Personally recommended.

Hoover is not a verb, something you can do. It is the brand name of household electrical goods such as washing machines etc.

People still hoover up, people still say Tannoy instead of public address system.

I have a George Formby grill. Everything I cook turns out nice.

Lighten up.

This website specialises in TV stands and has a huge variety available.

You can search for stands according to the size, type, finish, price and manufacturer which meets your needs (can even look for stands with castors).

I did look on their website, but they didn't specify if the shelf would hold a bulky AV receiver, something I have heard a lot of people have trouble with. Unfortunately I don't have a branch near me to see it first hand, so an email maybe the only way. Thank you for the reply tho

Thank you very much for the information, looking at the link, it looks a slightly smaller one than the one I have already, so is tempting to purchase. I will have to pop into my local Richer Sounds and have a look, hopefully they will be able to help me out as it was them that I got the AV receiver from.

It is in accepted usage in the same way that 'google it' is used as a verb meaning to search
