This Autumn Freeview EPG will change with the red button channels moving from 300's to allow more EPG space for BT/Talk Talk and PlusNet TV onto the Freeview system which is needed due to the growth of channel by the internet by those companies.

Also TV internet systems has just been updated to allow growth of channels and allow all companies put out more streams at the same time and talk talk has taken on this new bandwidth in more channels then BT. Plus net are said to be coming along with there own TV services by end of this year.

BT needs to gain market with new channels soon to keep the growth of customers.
BT is due to update it's player in July but is behind on that.

So what channels should BT bring to use this Autumn ?

These channels are on Talk Talk now that BT has not got yet?
Sky One
Sky Two
Sky Living
Sky Livingit
Sky Arts 1 & 2
Good Food
Home
Eden
Discovery Home & Health
Comedy Central extra
MTV other music channels
The Box
magic
kiss
Smash hits
heat
kerrang
CBS Reality+1
CBS Action
Horror
Sky Sports 1 to 4 plus news and F1
Plus many Asian and other countries channels too

BT has got HD were Talk Talk has none at this time but with space coming Autumn & Winter TV peak viewing times they will both put out press with new packages for these new channels.

So I would like BT to get some of the about channels listed but HD would be better.

Sky One HD
Sky Movies HD
Sky Living HD
TCM HD
Film 4 HD
Horror channel with +1
Watch HD
Eden HD
MGM HD

So what new channels would you like and would you pay more if BT doubled the channels in SD & HD as we do not get items free in this world.... lol

+1 channels on BT TV would be a waste of space.
Also the channels likes Sky One may not happen and if it did I think as said elsewhere the price per month may go up.
Also the music channels you listed although would be welcome. More and more can get the channels via there new smart HD TVs.
I would just be happy if the rest of the UK TV channels and more Discovery channels came to BT.
If BT started changing more £20 for there TV entertainment pack then I would not be to happy. As other BT packages are dear enough as it is.
I would be happy to pay a £1 or £2 more for the bolt ons.
I don't have the Sky Moves or the kids blots ons but I do have all the other TV bolt ons.

I agree with Darren. Although it would be nice to have the option of the SKY channels they would be expensive (because SKY charges a high wholesale price) and they are not likely to happen as SKY won't let BT broadcast anything of thiers unless they are forced to do so by OFCOM.
There is a decision pending over the next month about being able to offer sky sports but again this doesn't bother me as I would not be prepared to pay £20+ just for sky sports 1&2 anyway.

I would like to see the complete set of UKTV channels (and in HD) and maybe the CBS channels that talktalk have just added.
But I would be happier to see something done about the movies and boxsets in the BTTV player and see some better content (and boxsets in HD)....

Freeview has had it's reshuffle now and space is there and BT has told us all about price changes coming in December.
Freeview has added channels which is on youview EPG too.

We have news that Quest channels has come to youview in roll back viewing now.

Yet BT is yet to bring any new channels to now over 100 EPG space sadly.
