Does anyone think Norris should be diagnosed with prostate cancer? It will give the actor something to really get his teeth into rather than bumbling around the street winding up the residents. And it was also highlight the issue, it seems rare for male characters to actually get cancer in soaps. And it will be interesting seeing the residents reactions as they most likely just see him as a nosy interfering little man.

I don't recall Norris having a proper storyline since his long lost brother died.

No, there is no need ,he can just carry on bumbling around living a totally unrenarkable life, just like the majority of people do.

I wouldn't mind Norris getting a juicy storyline. He's turned into more of an annoyance than a joke recently.

I think if he did, everyone in the street would be gossiping about him & his misfortunes, like he has done & been doing for years. Plus, it would only give Rita another chance to be miserable like she has been about Tina.

Exactly. We don't need a new cancer sl every week.

Norrgasm is a great comedy character, leave him alone to do what he does best.

Second that shelts and oldnj. The writers would seriously have run out of ideas to do Cancer Ward 2. I'd probably stop watching if they did another fatal illness sob fest in the next few years.

Besides, Norris doesn't need it. He blows everyone else off the screen just bumbling and buzzing away in the background.

I agree that it would be good to see him in a big storyline but soaps already overuse the cancer storyline.

Norris does not need ANY storyline!!! Leave him alone. He is best at doing what he does - and balancing the darker stories out!
He is a fun character, along with Mary! Why can't some characters have a normal life outside the frivolous, murderous other people there? It brings back a bit of normality!

To be fair, the lightest, easiest going, most normal people in life have times when life gets too much
Just to see that would make it actually real
And we would appreciate his humorous side if we saw some vulnerability in there too

But Corrie isn't real life, thank god A lot of us like Norris just the way he is. And we do get to see his vulnerability from time to time - which makes his character all the more rounded and moving. Give him a big tragic story and you make him just like everyone else.

No he needs a bullying storyline, perhaps Owen can make his life totally miserable like Norris himself does to everyone around him.

Or better still the 1 o'clock club mafia could start giving him grief.

Ps. well done Dennis - it was a long time coming.

Norris needs a good story but not an illness, after Dennis punched him he looked distraught I think he has great hidden acting skills you know.

Why not a hold up at the Cabin and turn him into a bumbling hero

Lol I acutally agree
That's what I'm saying.. He needs something too how vulnerability.. Not morph the character into one of the usual depressers but maybe get the shop robbed and have him scarred a bit.. Scared of doors open and closing etc
But something to show he has a heart. We've not seen it in a while
