A surprise murder would be good, but not Carol - far too good an actress/character to lose.

Yeah, she's agreat actress, but Hetti Bywater was a good actress, and a shame to lose her, especially compared to say, Peter Law

I don't think carol will die. They're showing her fight for life every day, and to die of something totally unrelated would be a massive cop-out. Also as others have said, she is confirmed to be in the show for at least another year.

That said, I can see DTC going for a shock death of a character, it would definitely create a asocial media buzz a la Lindsay in Hollyoaks!

I think it's Jean Slater who will be bumped off. Hope not but she's only back for a short stint. Such a waste of a great character if it is though.
