Haha...was just laughing to myself; have you seen the looks and dagger stares that Sharon has been giving phil since she's found out he was behind the attack at the bar?
I mean don't you think you'd notice if your partner started looking at you like serial killer about to split you half over the last few weeks!?! Those looks crack me up! 😂

On a separate note, I seriously can't understand Sharon...all she does is swan in and out of the square every few years, yet every single time she comes back she goes directly to phil to sponge off him, be it for money, a job or a place to stay, almost as if he owes it to her. I don't think it's fair to say he was behind Dennis' murder....he may have wound him up but Dennis' temper was always out of control. Sharon recently tried to rip phil off at the bar and phil found out but moved on. I think Sharon is a useless ponce. She always goes on about honesty and "no more lies". If she had just told phil she knows what happened and asked for an explanation at least she may not agree but she'd know he was doing it for her own good in his usual sledgehammer way but oh no, she has to steal all his money and ruin him. I feel that's a bit unfair. If she can't forgive him for the things he has done in the past, which in some cases is understandable, she shouldn't have shacked up with him again in the first place.

Sharon has a lot of history with Phil but I'm hoping they will split up Phil and Sharon for good when she gets revenge on him.

Sharon is iconic and is an original so I'm very happy that the producers have acknowledged her history to Albert Square. She grew up there. She is no saint and has done a few bad things but at least the feisty old Sharon is back. I totally agree that her actions this year have been unacceptable but I am looking forward to Sharon's future because they are finally getting her characterisation right this time

(Yes I am biased because I like her )

I think it can only be a good thing to give such an historically rich character a strong storyline. I'm not a huge fan of Sharon, but that's more than likely a result of her poor execution in recent years. We're getting glimpses of the old Sharon, and I really enjoyed seeing those. If she continues to almost revert back to her old self, I see no reason why she can't rise to the top of the program again. Why not? Yes, I do agree that the show needs to drive forwards, which currently it is achieving with the likes of the Carters, but it's also nice to have the old faces alongside the new.

Not really. That only happened in her 2012 return. Her 2001 return was as owner of the Vic and she could fend for herself. Then after her short break she returned to the whole Dennis/Den/Vicki stuff.

That's why people were so disappointed in how she returned penniless and completely dependant on Jack and then Phil. We'd never seen the character so desperate.

It's all raised eyebrows and funny looks. Phil must have sh*t in his eyes that's all I can say.

A cheap, scrounging scrag end with few redeeming features and a reprehensible excuse for a son.

The minute Sharon put her suit and war paint on last week it all came flooding back in a matter of minutes, long may it continue

Overrated yes. Her former glory seems to involve lying, thieving, blackmail and preaching about how to be a good mother. While she's cheating Phil out of all his worldly goods she is happy for him to be her son's carer, share his bed and have him provide her with a home and generous allowance.

I'm looking forward to her redemption and I hope they will sort her out. At the moment, it feels very 90s Sharon. There's been a lot of positive responses in social media. At least DTC is a big fan of Sharon so I think she will be fine under DTC.

Her recovery from quivering wreck to determined arch bitch was ludicrous! One minute she's shaking like a leaf and the next she's up and out like nothing has happened. Such poor writing!

She realised that she had to pull herself together when she found out that Phil ordered her attack. She is still vulnerable underneath. Its a front.

I agree. The mixture of old and new is what's making DTC's era so enjoyable for me. I love the Carters. They're a breath of fresh air. Rejuvenating the legendary Sharon Watts into the bargain is everything I could ask for.

Well, she gave into him anyway! haha.

Isn't she supposed to be acting like everything is normal? It couldn't be more obvious that something isn't right, or is that just LD's acting?
