Phil has always had a superiority complex when it comes to women, if he can't control or manipulate them it doesn't last long, he needs come first, it's why him and Kathy never worked out, her son was her priority, unless they was 100% about him, it's why Shirley goes back, she obsessed with him and fulfills his ego and sexual needs.

Look how he treated Lisa probably the worse out of any woman his been with, treat her like dirt but she would go back for more even after she shot him, she was cheating with him.

Phil and Shirley are far more suited than Phil and Sharon,i would predict Sharon will discover the affair and play a long and use it all in one go when fleecing Phil,has potential this storyline as Phil and Shirley will then work together to nail Sharon but i also sense Phil will let slip to Sharon about Shirley been Micks mother and that will all fold into the reveal, as i said this storyline if built correctly should unfold with interest to the viewer. If t goes this way the reveal will have an effect on Linda and Sharons friendship as Linda will be raging for Sharon not telling her.

I think Shirleys personal hygiene is only bad when she's been sleeping in the gutter. When she's not boozed up and takes care of herself there's no need for air freshener to be sprayed around her.

Sharon independent...don't make me laugh Phil's house, Phil's bar and Phil's money. And of course she couldn't flit about as she does if she didn't have Phil to look after her kid....the kid she might not have now if Phil hadn't rescued him from John when he was kidnapped. Of course when she's stolen the lot then she'll be independent and more smug than ever...joy.

Shirley deserves everything she gets when it comes to Phil the worse he treats her the more she likes it. I know Phil and Shirley are popular as a couple but I personally loathe them together. Its ridiculous that we are expected to believe that he loves her after the way he treated her the last time they were together.

Perhaps she considers it compensation for Phil leaving her child fatherless?
Also, at least Sharon knows the meaning of hard work, she busts a gut to make a go of the Albert and is great to her staff.

Wasn't it Phil that's been bank rolling Shirley for years and always bailing her out, he gave her a cafe, she fluff that up, she even blackmail her way into the Vic, it was Linda and Mick money that brought the place not her, at least Sharon works for what is hers, call it payment in kind for nearly killing her.

I don't think anyone would claim that Shirley is strong and independent, she didn't want the poxy café anymore than she wanted the burger van.

If it was Shirley conning Phil I bet those saying ''go on Sharon'' wouldn't be saying that but would in fact wishing Shirley in jail.

Dont forget Sharon is breaking the law now. Fraud and theft are criminal offences.

Can you see Phil going the police, I doubt it causing his probably breaking the law himself, theft, fraud and money laundering ain't far from his vocabulary.

I wouldn't be wishing her in Jail but I wouldn't Find Shirley so deserving of revenge as Sharon. Phil treats her badly and she keeps coming back for more you lose sympathy for someone like that.

If Shirley had been beaten up by thugs Phil hired then I'd be cheering her on if she did the same.

I do think Phil is getting a raw deal. He never intended for Sharon to get hurt and he was mortified by what happened. Sharon didn't want security, Phil knew she needed it. All bars in London, esp the east end, need bouncers there. Sharon was very naïve to think she didn't need that sort of back up. So while it was unfortunate Sharon got hurt that wasn't the intention.

Sharon's revenge should have always come from finding out the truth about Dennis death. Not this because if Phil had explained the above to her she would understand.

That said I do hope she takes him for everything and I really hope Peggy is back for the reveal fall out.

^ Sharon mentioned on Tuesday's episode that she is doing it for Dennis as well. The affair with Shirley will give Sharon more ammunition. I hope Peggy comes back for the wedding

Phil may not have intended to hurt her but she could of died and it would have been entirely his fault.
