Damn you EE ...I thought we were going to see Sylvie then.

Charlie and Babe are such intriguing characters. I don't know what to make of either of them.

Sharon couldn't be acting more shifty if she tried. If Phil can't see through her then he deserves to be stitched up.

Love the Carters

Ive seen that vicar before, just can't think where.
He was Simon Kitson in The Bill (The journalist involved with Cass & the serial killers brother)

Aunt Babe has an Imaginary friend

Nancy

I don't like Tosh, but damn she is hot.

Sharon really is making it obvs that something isn't right, she may as well wear a sign around her neck!

No EE tomorrow night.

I LOVE Aunt Babe. She is certainly shifty, revenge is something to be savored, she says., watch out, Shirley!

Do Tina and Mick know that Sylvie was abusive to Shirley and mean to Stan or not? I'm guessing no?

I do think Stan will turn out to be the nice guy, we are learning little bits about the Carter past and I'm loving it.

Definitely Sylvie at the end, I think she may show up before Christmas, even it is only with Aunt Babe.

Loved the contrast with the Dinners at each house.

Charlie evil eyed Carol, I think she better watch out!

Nice to see Dot back!

Overall the Carters stole the episode for me, Aunt Babe definitely has me hooked.

Awesome script tonight, too.

8 J-B Points for the episode
0/10 Lauren

+ Charlie is getting more interesting by the episode, really liking his scenes with pretty much everyone. Even that harridan Carol.
+ Aunt Babe has totally lost the plot, pouring herself two beers like that and chatting away It looked terribly warm too
+ Creepy drunken vicar is great. Sizzling tension with Car.

- Carol wasn't killed off then
- I'm not sure what we're meant to be seeing with the Sharon storyline as Letitias atrocious acting makes it really difficult. Are we meant to think that she is successfully covering up her plan? Because that couldn't be further from the truth.

Charlie is a good character, I hope they keep him redeemable whatever happens next.
Redeemable from what ????

Tracey can work fine on her own, she has for 25 years
28 years actually.

Can Sharon just use her gun to shoot Tina, Tosh, Dean and Babe please!! I'm sick of these four. I think they are the worst of the Carters and they really weren't needed at present. On her own Tina doesn't seem so bad but with Tosh she is unbearable. However, I did enjoy Babe more than usual tonight.

I really liked the Jackson/Branning scenes with Dot. Its only took EastEnders an entire year to remember Dot is part of their family. Its nice to see Dot and Carol in a stepmother/stepdaughter relationship and I hope it isn't forgotten again. We should treasure all the June Brown we can get these days.

I can't decide if Charlie or Aleks is my fave new character of 2014 so I'll settle for both. Charlie gets more interesting with each passing episode. I think he is genuinely a good guy who has just been caught up in something bad.

Don't know much about the area myself, but a drug operation thwarted by Shirley has to be Mickey Mouse.

Babe is fantastic. Brilliantly played, fascinating character with a toughness but definitely a heart - could well up being the new matriarch!

All the Carters are superb to be fair, and Charlie Cotton too so refreshing to see people who can act! Standards are bound to drop though when Alfie gets the screen again in a couple of weeks!

Agreed, her shining episode to date tonight.
Although Shirley better watch out, if that scene with Nancy in the kitchen is anything to go by!

Was nice to see the Chaplain guy again too.

I felt sick when Phil said "you haven't let me touch you in ages." to Sharon.

I disagree, her ruthless side makes her interesting in my opinion.

Would have been great if the camera panned to a lifesize Cliff Richard waxwork.

I think when she locks up The Albert, Sharon sticks the Bonnie Tyler on and screams:
Once upon a time there were 2 Dens in my life,
Now there's only Phil in the dark.
Nothing I can say,
I'm shagging him for the bar....
