I am not saying they needed an excuse But they did give them and the 3 listed by the op were very popular...still are in fact.

So roughly Jale can defend anyone she likes, others cant.

i like irony - its not as pretty as goldy, but it is stronger than coppery

Yes she was.....Jeeeze its hard to not mute when Toya and Matthew are bleating.

She went because Ashleigh's supporters (myself included) thought she was the easiest target to evict (which she was as it worked). I haven't missed Jale at all and thought it was right she went when she did. We have got far more out of Ashleigh than we ever would have with Jale (who's only interesting story arc was being bullied by the nasties).

No you are wrong, I am one there was absolutely no need for me to make an excuse, I wanted Jale out to save Ashleigh, I cant think of any reason anyone would need an excuse.

I don't expect anyone to do anything, I was merely pointing out the irony of it all.

She left because she was annoying and changed from the person the public liked the first week.

Correct. I found her deeply unlikeable and overbearing. I was delighted she was shown the door.

Of course they can, maybe I worded it wrong and should have said ''might be'' instead of ''it is'' I am not irritated at all with any defending of chosen housemates, just flabbergasted and aghast at the double standards sometimes.

Nah I am not wrong its all in print on the forum should you be bothered enough to look, and I never said all made these excuses btw.

Yes the OP's points were used as justification for voting Jale out but it was all about saving Ashleigh.

As we are constantly reminded it's only a game and now it looks like Chris's time to take his turn on BOTS for the week as the game dictates

There is another irony of course. Not only are Ashleigh and Chris fully paid up members of the Helen fan club but when Helen couldn't be bothered to target, some might say bully the newbies, Chris too up that mantle for her

2. She was rude and overly bossy to HMs like Christopher.

Were these not qualities you admired in Jale, but now you dont admire them in others, is this the irony you mean?

Lol you are right OP, but this forum (and the average modern BB fan) loves it's double standards

I always wanted Ashleigh to integrate more and agreed when Jale advised her to do so. Ashleigh isn't being criticised for doing this it just leaves a question, why was Jale

Maybe you weren't around at the time They were justifications given by many fans of Ashleigh, Chris and Christopher to vote out Jale. Many were fans of Jale too so needed a justification. Some I know just didn't like Jale but many were just trying to save Ashleigh.

It's common knowledge tbh

I admired many of Jale's qualities, the spurious points I listed were attributed to her by her detractors not by me.

This would not have happened years ago because people were then more avid fans of BB and were bothered who actually stayed. But because it has been such a dire year there were not many people other than the Ashleigh fans that would bother wasting their money. Who else wants to vote 40 - 100 times these days. I certainly don't. Quite laughable!”

It was such an awful militant campaign which included unnecessary vitriol against Jale which still leaves a stain every time her name is mentioned. Jale was hardly the villain of the show. The strategy also meant alliances across fan bases which they termed 'honorable' (Irony indeed!) I see that honour now crumbling around them as their own selfish goals come in to play /yes, Jale acted decently and so too, can I say, her supporters.

But viewers only wanted to save Ashleigh as they thought she'd 'stand up to Helen'. The opposite has happened, Ashleigh is now where Jale was. Yet unlike Jale she gets praised for it :S

Crazy double standards indeed!

Jale would have been a perfect winner, but we can still root for Christopher and Pav.

I'm finding that strangely satisfying TBH. It's given me many a chuckle - love it when we see 'you are obviously not a truefan and all that nonsense
