She went because Ashleigh's supporters (myself included) thought she was the easiest target to evict (which she was as it worked). I haven't missed Jale at all and thought it was right she went when she did. We have got far more out of Ashleigh than we ever would have with Jale (who's only interesting story arc was being bullied by the nasties).

No you are wrong, I am one there was absolutely no need for me to make an excuse, I wanted Jale out to save Ashleigh, I cant think of any reason anyone would need an excuse.

Yes the OP's points were used as justification for voting Jale out but it was all about saving Ashleigh.

There is another irony of course. Not only are Ashleigh and Chris fully paid up members of the Helen fan club but when Helen couldn't be bothered to target, some might say bully the newbies, Chris too up that mantle for her

Maybe you weren't around at the time They were justifications given by many fans of Ashleigh, Chris and Christopher to vote out Jale. Many were fans of Jale too so needed a justification. Some I know just didn't like Jale but many were just trying to save Ashleigh.

I admired many of Jale's qualities, the spurious points I listed were attributed to her by her detractors not by me.

It was such an awful militant campaign which included unnecessary vitriol against Jale which still leaves a stain every time her name is mentioned. Jale was hardly the villain of the show. The strategy also meant alliances across fan bases which they termed 'honorable' (Irony indeed!) I see that honour now crumbling around them as their own selfish goals come in to play /yes, Jale acted decently and so too, can I say, her supporters.

But viewers only wanted to save Ashleigh as they thought she'd 'stand up to Helen'. The opposite has happened, Ashleigh is now where Jale was. Yet unlike Jale she gets praised for it :S

Jale would have been a perfect winner, but we can still root for Christopher and Pav.
