Now then Ladies and Gentlemen.
I was watching a bit of children's tv yesterday teatime with my little two and a half year old Grandson.
We were watching Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom (a cartoon type programme) when i thought........ I recognise that voice!
The voice for King Thistle was no other than Ian Puleston-Davies (aka Owen from Corrie).

Yes, I know, it is a bit of useless information but just wanted to let other DS Members know in case they were interested.

alas you are a few years late for that train...but we all remember that feeling of excitement. Between ben & holly & peppa pig there are a fair few cool cast members.

Many stars of childrens TV have gone on to have wide ranging fulfilling careers. Owen decided to cry behind washing machines and call inanimate objects love.

And it has made Owen famous 'beyond rubies'! (At least on DS it has).

And bully anything in sight.

Ian Puleston-Davies also played a very nasty piece of work, called Shirley(!) in a BBC2 drama from a few years ago, called "Funland" (set in Blackpool).
