Leading on from that - perhaps Sylvie is ill so sommebdy has to stay to look after her when Babe isn't in and that was the 3rd person who she was giving the drink to?

As I have said elsewhere why are we assuming it is Sylvie, maybe DTC knows that we are expecting her to appear so has been leading us up the garden path. Maybe she could be a 'little bit mad' and talking to no one or maybe (some suspension of disbelief needed) she could be living with Nick, or in a bigger shock 'Fat' Elvis may make his long awaited debut in a love triangle storyline between Babe, Mo and Elvis ending with a threesome at the Slaters and it is their burning passion that starts the fire.

Having said that it will probably be Sylvie

It must be someone we've already seen because they could have showed us if it was someone we've not seen on screen before.

I'd put good money on Sylvie being a red herring and it actually being Nick Cotton. It makes sense as this week has mainly been centered around the Carter's and the Butchers, whom have been interacting more than evenlr recently what with Carol and Charlie, Whitney and Lee and the drugs.

I don't doubt that Sylvie will turn up, she probably will around Christmas time to reveal the truth about Mick's parentage, but I think her being Aunt Babe's roommate is a bit too obvious for my liking.

Who in the blue hell is Slyvie and why are people so bothered about it?

Drugs being the link? Good theory but a bit contrived wouldn't you say?

I don't see why not. Nick could be anywhere and he could be an old friends or 'business associate' of Babes

If that's the case maybe Rainie is living with Babe and Babe is secretly a Madam too

Nick Cotton is her toy boy or they're teasing Stacey Slater back in.

I just think if it is Sylvie it's a bit pointless not showing her. We don't know what she looks like (or who may be playing her), so we wouldn't exactly recognise her! It'd be more interesting than what we got!

They probably have a well known actress in line for the role so won't reveal her like this and then not follow it up. When Sylvia finally appears she will have a whole week dedicated to her.

Sylvie is the estranged mother of Shirley and Tina - she abandoned them when they were young

it could of course be a massive red herring and not be Sylvie at all

it might be Nick............

I hope it's Sylvie.

I think there will be a double switcheroo when the Mick/Shirley 'reveal' is made, with Shirley finding out that Babe is her mother, after an illicit **** with Stan.

I think you were getting a bit carried away at the end there
