In a lot of cases appearance doesn't come into it although people do judge.
Hubby happens to be much better looking. There was actually a comment many years ago - we were in the pub sitting with an acquaintance, hubby went to the bar and the chap turned to me and said "how did you pull him?"

If you go by the rule half your age plus 7 then you should be going out with a 16 year old
