Of course she didn't 'boast about being eternally unemployed'. You have been here long enough to know the truth. In her VT she said she was not ashamed of being on the dole, and with good reason - she had worked hard for her entire adult life, until her place of work closed down; she went on to do voluntary work for a while. For DARING to be on the dole, briefly and after many years of work, she was utterly crucified, not only on here but on BBLB. I thought it was disgusting. She was in a house with Freddie - who had never had a job, but giggled that he signed on 'for a bit of pocket money'; Bea, who boasted that she had been sacked from every job she had ever tried, but whose wealthy parents paid for her to do what she liked, and Angel, who drifted from one publicity stunt to another. But it was obviously all right for pretty, affluent young people to be on the dole for as long as they liked; only heaven help someone older and more working class who fell on hard times.
Out of all the housemates since series 1, she was the one who was treated the worst on here: just drowned in abuse, and often plain lies. It was the worst this forum has ever been, which is saying something.

Here, here. As a middle-aged warehouse worker who was made redundant around the same time as Lisa, I had every sympathy for her position.

I liked David, and I liked their friendship.
People used to call them 'Livid'. There was a brief but awful scene in BB10 when Freddie and Bea were chortling away about Lisa being unemployed, and sneering that she had said she has turned down jobs because they were only accessible by car. Because OBVIOUSLY mummy and daddy give you a car, don't they? So what could possibly be the reason?
