There was a family dinner on Emmerdale tonight.
Coronation Street always features family dinners.

I had a family dinner.

We have family dinners every Sunday. Myself, my parents, my brother and his partner (+kids), my other brother and his partner (+kid). Then there is special occasions, lots more of us around for a family dinner, bbq etc. Not quite so abnormal?!

And I bet you're just as much a peasant as the people they show - like Phil Mitchell.

He seems to be shown on EVERY Eastenders episode that involves a meal scene.

I thought tonight was perfect for all secrets to be let loose at once!

This Carter Family Meals are becoming almost as famous as Peggy's Mitchell Family Dinner's, never a drama free dinner in The Vic thats for sure

By the way for their dinner they had Shephard's Pie, Lasagne and Steak and Kidney Pie, they sure did eat like royalty

I hope you're the only person who didn't know I was kidding and therefore a smiley was simply not needed.

If not - then I guess it's true... sarcasm really was invented to confuse the stupid.

Are you always this delightful and charming?

I don't bother with petty online disputes so don't try it as you're wasting your time- just some friendly advice.

I posted an OBVIOUS tongue in cheek post. You reply with a clear 'me-no-understand' reply.

I guess I just need to learn to accept that some people who post on forums are mundane people and I'll try to tolerate them better.

Lesson learned. as annoying as it is.

I'm not remotely interested in any of this and that's all I'm going to say on the matter.
