Been wanting to try this for a while but have only just decided I'm ready to commit myself 100% provided people are interested. Tortured souls is an Eastenders fanfic based around the secrets and lies that the men of Walford are hiding. It's my take on events and how I would like certain storylines to go or imagine they could have gone. Some of the ideas will be based around speculation on the main forum and some of the themes will be dark and adult but the idea is to bring the men to the forefront as they in my opinion currently hide behind a stronger female cast. The main characters I envisage including are Charlie, Aleks, Mick, Dean, Johnny, Max, Peter, Jay and Lee - though there will obviously be interactions from the female characters to progress the storylines. Ultimately I want to encompass some of the best speculation I have read and coupled with my own style change the lives of these characters as we know them.

Sounds interesting, I sometimes think male characters are overshadowed by the female ones!
