Thank you for posting this as finally an Ashleigh fan who can see she has flaws.
Makes such a change from some of her blinkered fans who think she can do no wrong.

Every year this happens were fans of a certain HM get over zealous and they actually put people off that particular HM so they lose votes/support, and every year I seem to state what will happen, yet every year nothing changes.

We could dissect an atom and there would still be a row over it's properties. Of course our views are based on who we like in the house and who we don't but to compare what Conor said about Deana to Ashleigh's tantrum is not on, Ashleigh was in a foul mood. Perhaps she had her period? Conor certainly wasn't having one; if he had he would certainly have come away from the house with a lot more that 50 Grand

Yeah I'm from Derry and I know it doesn't come across threatening, I suppose it can be the tone of the a Northern Irish accent (more so the Derry accent) that can make it sound threatening but I find it more funny than anything.

Yes I have completely forgiven Helen, I quite like her now

And in regards to Helens attitude, she victimised and entered their personal space. Did you see Ashleigh get up and walk up to Christopher in a threatening manor? Was Christopher at a unfair advantage in that argument where he was outnumbered and couldn't stand his own ground? No, so I can't see your comparison.

Ashleigh and conor are very alike in behavior and attitude

Whether it's fair or not to compare Ashleigh's thoughts about Christopher to Conor's demented sexual fantasy, isn't the point that he barely got a slap on the wrist for sharing it with the viewing public, and was then allowed to walk away with half the prize money? So why would anyone expect the producers to do anything about Ashleigh's, let's face it, much milder outburst?

I hope my fellow Ashleigh fans realize that Chris staying will drag her down with him and thus kill her chances of winning.

Chris leaving would eliminate a potential threat and also increase votes...

You're an Ashleigh fan!!

Really!!

He should have had a sign which said SMUG MUCH, round his neck. IMO he has been very smug lately, because he is very smart and now knows he has won the sympathy vote, which has been his gameplan all along, as well as sitting on the fence. I have noticed Christopher checking to see if the cameras are on him before he says anything to anyone and is very guarded in his real opinions. He is not very natural. He always seems to me, to be, thinking before he speaks, and he comes across as being more Fakeish to me than anyone else in there. As for putting Ashleigh in similar context with Conner, this is another very feeble attempt at trying to turn the public against Ashleigh. She had a little strop at Christopher, so what. They have already kissed and made up, and forgot about it fgs and she did not say 'she would smash his head against a mirror' she said she 'would LIKE to smash his head against a mirror'. There is a difference.”

I was going to write a parody post of someone protecting Ashleigh, by either blaming others or justifying what she said, but you've saved me the effort - cheers

I shall used the saved minutes wisely and make a salad!

I do take the point but context is key here I would say.

It does indeed.

And anyway they're not really friends in the proper sense - just rival contestants in a game show who have formed a strategic alliance.

Why is it desperate? I don't always agree with BIGMOMMA, but here there's a good point.

I don't go round saying that I'd like to smash my friend's face through a mirror and call them a dick, regardless if it was in the heat of the moment. Do you? If so, would you really class yourself as a friend to them, or perhaps someone who doesn't actually like them very much? Or perhaps if people do do that to friends, they are dicks themselves.

I just don't see why BIGMOMMA's point was bollocks at all , unless I've missed a joke , and if I have, ignore me

Here we go again. But if Ashleigh and Christopher hadn't been good friends all series then they'd be more of a point here.

But this is what friends do they have ocassional spats in the manner of Ashleighs and Christophers. As far as i know there getting totally fine again now.

Anyone pick up on Christopher saying to Mark lastnight , i'm going to kill you yes i'm going to kill you Mark. Same sort of thing really good friends sometimes say this stuff. It's all very different if you say or do any of this to people who aren't your good friends.

That's why the Conor thing is way different amongst other things. They wern't good friends at all.

Putting Connor aside for a moment, who was far more disgusting than anything Ashleigh has done, by a long long way, in my opinion:

BIB: Do you really say you'd like to put your mates head through a mirror when you argue with them? I certainly don't no matter how bad the argument. I'm not 100% sure she really regards him as a good mate at all.

BIB2: Christopher and Mark joke around like that. Ashleigh wasn't joking.

Sorry, can't see the likeness, at all.

What Conor said about Deana has no comparison to what Ashleigh said about Christopher. The context in which it was said was also completely different. IMHO.

I have heard it all now ,the desperation from the anti Ashleigh brigade is palpable.
Ashleigh has now ATTACKED Christopher and ASSAULTED Danielle.
You couldn't make it up.

Of course my mates we've said similar things to eachother during spats an rows yes. You only do it to really good friends because they know you don't mean it that's the point here.

This is the type of attitude that annoys me. Whilst I do believe that it was just a tiff between mates and everything has been sorted out by now. Don't try and make out that Ashleigh was completely innocent and none of the disagreement was her fault. She was the one that resorted to swearing and mocking (before anyone says anything i'm not saying Christopher is completely innocent either, it takes 2 to have an arguement).

Also I bet if someone had posted that Ashleigh should have had a sign that said brat much you wouldn't have liked that. So why say it about the other involved in a tiff.

See, I'd say a really good friend would be very protective of their friendship even in the heat of the moment, and would step back before saying any such thing in an argument, thus limiting damage.

If I called my mate a **** and that I'd like to kick him in the bollocks during a proper argument, I don't think he'd much appreciate me later saying, "Nah, I only said it because you're a great mate and you know I don't mean it". I think he'd think I was a dick.

Unless of course I said it in a joking way, while not having an argument...but that's not what happened.

Everyone's friendships are different of course, no doubting that.

I disagree with so much of this post that I just don't know where to begin .............so I shall just say I disagree.

Just read all the posts I don't actually think that it's fair to compare this situation to Conor and the epilator. Because the situations are completely different. Conor had a massive problem with Deana and it built up to an unpleasant conclusion this was just on the back of a little disagreement.

Also maybe Ashleigh did get told off for it. They haven't shown any warnings this year except Helen's and we know that there's been more.
