Ok so Donna is not far from croaking and when someone dies they need a good old ED funeral. Will the ED writers do better than when her mother died?

It'll be interesting to see if we see Scott and Kelly will come back for their sisters funeral. I hope they do as I think it'd be totally unrealistic for them not to.

What would you like to see for Donna's funeral?

I can see them getting Kelly back but doubt they will bother with Scott as they either need to form a new agreement with Ben Freeman after the way he was treated when accused of rape or recast. He's meant to be living abroad I think so not too hard to explain why he doesn't turn up.

I can't really think of many other people that would be notable by their absence as her parents are both dead and close friends like Katie already in the Village.

If Donna is buried in Emmerdale then I would like a little mention that Viv was cremated in Essex and Scott held onto her ashes. She then can be laid to rest in Emmerdale finally when Donna pegs it.

Just noticed the spelling typo in the title, it should say Viv! Pleased everyone knew who I was talking about.

Well spotted, jimbo23. Did Vic Windsor have an Emmerdale funeral?

I swear Bob said they had her body sent down to Essex because Scott, Donna and Kelly wanted to be closer to her... hahaha.

Talking of Scott and Kelly, as they've been tested for the cancer and found to be clear, they must know that Donna is dying. Why haven't they told Bob/turned up to spend some time with Donna?

Blimey, when Donna croaks it....OFFICALLY there is only ONE character left pre-plane crash...Eric Pollard. It is such a poor state of affairs, Emmerdales biggest ever storyline and there is nobody left who was actually 'there'....

i think with viv, she annoyed the powers that be, thus her rubbish exit and even her body being sent down south, was shocking treatment really,

i saw dena payne in calander girls last year and she was really good, i no we have brenda as a nice version of viv , but i miss her!

Everything about Viv's exit was low key, disgraceful for a character of such long standing

Questions:
1) Are criminals (dead ones of course) still buried within the walls of the prison?
2) Would Donna's family have to pay for this, or would it be the responsibility of the prison authorities?

She's terminally ill. Of course she's going to die. And the actress is leaving.
