Yes! I was sick of it in BB14 and it has just got worse this series. Who cares about these people?

Definitely.
I miss the early days of Big Brother where the housemates had no idea what people on the outside thought of them.

Things like this just make them too self-aware and more likely to hold back.

Probably.....I've seen at least one of them on BBBOTS!

I can kind of see the mindset behind it .... maybe BB producers think this will be interesting to see how people's 'game plans' change from here onwards.

However they've just shown all the cards to the HM's. HM's are not oblivious to the outside world whatsoever. They could probably rank themselves most to least popular very easily. Takes away half the game.

I'm sick of it. If I was in there, I'd put my foot through the tv screen.

Yes. It is character assassination and a deliberately false depiction of what is actually happening in the house.

Cannot believe how much outside info they get. This is the first ch5 series I've properly watched. I don't get how they can even call it Big Brother anymore.

I don't even think their opinions were particularly accurate anyway.

They might as weLl just give them a tv and Internet access right from the start.

I don't mind it, but it seems they are doing it too much this series and it is slightly getting annoying. Although I was hoping someone on the panel would mention after all the fuss they made about Zoe having reality experience that Mark has been on Shipwrecked and the X factor.

BB has hurdled the streamlined carnivorous fish.

It's Big Brother by name only....their website says....

"Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother are now well established in the schedule – and stripped of any pretentiousness about “social experiments” are focused on real life entertainment."

Make what you will of that but I don't see much real life myself in Channel 5's version!!

Quite possibly the worst idea the BB producers have ever had, and that's going some.

Contact with the outside world has always happened

In BB1 Darren got a video message on week 1 from his kids for his birthday
Nicola got a letter for hers
Claire entered halfway through having watched the show
And on eviction nights the HM's were allowed to step outside the house and wave to the crowd, and the HM's that survived the eviction would get to wave to their friends and family
