I agree with this some times in previous series but I genuinely can't think of anyone that applies to this year.

Men are always forgiven, women aren't.....it's the same with affairs and a lot of situations. It's sad

Ok, seriously, it was not one comment. It was one comment that tipped her over the edge, but there were already a fair few people who were not particularly fond of Zoe.

Yes she had her fun moments, absolutely, but she was too much, too over the top, too up her own tush, comment or no comment. It was the way she spoke about her life and past experiences. She was always playing to the camera. She always wanted to be the centre of attention. She always stuck her nose into other people's business. She went on and on and on and on about how "humble" and "down to earth" she is. I swear to god she never went a single day without saying both things in virtually every single conversation she had with anyone. The singing in the bedroom was just (to quote Helen) cringe. She did not shut up and the speed, dear god the sheer speed, it was like watching someone overdosing on caffeine and sugar combined.

Any of these things by themselves, even several of these in any one person are fine. They can be charming, fun, slightly annoying, bearable in other words, warts and all and all that jazz, but every single one of these things wrapped up in one jazzy hands starlet... I think she needs to switch to decaff, chill the bleep out every now and then.

Add on the Tesco comment and anyone still struggling to give you chance is going to say then and there you're gone.

That's why she was evicted in my honest opinion. All that and the comment pushed her over the edge.

He'd also been quite nasty to Matthew (and maybe others, can't remember now, heh), when he was seen as just being Helen's sidekick a few weeks back.

There was also all the sexist/slutbucket/etc stuff with the boy band (Winston, Marlon, Ash) which Kimberly, Ashleigh and some viewers found offensive in the first few weeks....

...but Matthew went instead, heh.

Apparently being nice and positive is a bad thing. Plus Ash is the chosen ones best bud so he has the golden ticket by default.

I think that comment alienated people.

But I think Ash Should have gone but Matthew was not that likeable frankly.

Zoe's comment had been completely forgotten about until BB kindly reminded everybody during her eviction week.

ash was up the week the Ashleigh vs helen thing was going on wasn't he. Then the jale drama.
I think he got forgotten about.

With zoe , chris fans had to vote someone. Pav had the sympathy vote the tesco comment just helped really.

I thought Zoe was great fun in the house, a breath of fresh air myself. Shame she went, but Emma said it was real close.

Ash didn't insult the public, did he ? ( I don't remember him doing that )

Zoe's mistake was dismissing the very people her career depends on

Who does she think sits in the audience when she's in Panto ?

She didn't go for saying one thing - total myth. She was annoying from the first day she entered the house, was unable to maintain her "humblest person you will ever know" mask and was rightly evicted.

Zoe left because she was obnoxious. Like a hungry chorus girl trying to be seen in the second row.

Also, when given the third opportunity to explain herself, Zoe still put her foot in it and didn't grasp what was wrong with her comment.

Ash admitted and apologised for his comment, whereas Zoe tried to deny or make excuses.

Ash's comment was self contained to the house, Zoe's was toward the viewers.

I highly doubt it was based on one comment though, i know that for myself she annoyed me on an extreme level with her over the top pageant girl antics.

Also, there's who she was up against to take into consideration.

Pav has gained a lot of sympathy and Chris has an established fanbase, that's a tough situation to go up against and survive for someone like Zoe who hasn't really made an impact.

Ash was up against certain HGs and situations that made it survivable.

I don't think it had anything to do with the old "Ash is a man" stuff.

The first time he was up, he was against Toya who had hammered so many nails into her own coffin there was barely any wood left.

The second time he was up was girl power week and a man left anyway.

Ash's comments (and Winston and Marlon's) were a direct slap in the face to feminists the world over surely? It's a bit like someone claiming a racist comment in the house would only be offensive to the individual they aimed it at.

I'd have thought anyone who claimed to support feminist ideals would be disgusted at these guys including Ash, no?

Perhaps I've got it all wrong. Ash does after all have rather nice tousled hair and a certain flair for hats. We can maybe make an allowance and forgive this one his sins.

Only him though. We don't want men slipping right? If anyone else judges slutbuckets on their tits though or laughs at the fat ugly ones, there'll be hell to pay.

Don't blame the show. Blame the public who vote.

How is calling a specific person "maggot" a slap in the face to Feminists? Simply because that person was Female? He didn't say all Females were maggots, he said Jale was a maggot as a reaction to what was said about him in the diary room.

I'm not defending Ash or his comments... i don't care anything about Ash and not a fan.... but it's not the same thing to make a comment self contained within the house versus making a comment directed toward the viewers. There's a structure of [Big Brother]House/HG<----->Observer.[Big Brother]

He also apologized to Jale directly for the comments he made to her which she accepted.

Ash said that's how he speaks generally, and after seeing his friend on BBBOTS and the way he also carried himself i believe that's the way he and his friends speak, i have no reason to think they wouldn't call each other maggot, or other such vulgar names within their particular group. That doesn't mean i support the way he speaks, or that i would care to be among his group of friends but i believe that's what he and his group of friends are like.

I don't see what it has to do with Feminism at all.

What on earth has feminism got to do with it? I am sure you maybe making some great points, but TBH they have gone right over my head.
