Was Zoe's comment taken out of context?

The general opinion seemed to be that it was her saying she'd never bond with somebody that worked in Tesco's

But the way I took her explanation, I think what she may have been trying to say was that she'd only bond with people that are interesting to talk to and have interesting stories rather than somebody that has nothing to talk about, and used an example of someone that did nothing but work in Tesco's

I'm not sure it was an actual dig at Tesco's workers?

people that are interesting - still not a good thing to say, she is still putting herself above others

No, she's up herself.

I don't think she's up herself but I do think what she said was worded bad but big brothers editing made it sound much worse than it was.

No, pretty clear what she meant, even her explanation tonight made it worse.

I think she probably didn't mean it in an offensive way, I think she just made a spectaculalry bad judgement call when trying to illustrate a point.

I cringed at it but I think I understood where she was coming from. She was 3rd in pop idol at age 16, she has probably had a charmed life (which to be fair she has admitted and been thankful for) but she worded t awfully bless her and although I do think that particular comment was taken badly I do think that she feels a cut above, 'babe I have so many stories'...

I thunk she thinks she's a cut above too, just one cut. no more than that. But she it's as though see's her time in a supermarket as 'until I get a real job'.
