coronation Street Yasmin
She is such an annoying character I actually kind of liked her when she first joined which I was suprised about but now they are really trying to shove her down our throats with her in your face comments I really wanted Mary to do something to her tonight. Shut up she thinks like everyone relies on her when ever do we see this library and if Roy hadn't come up with his idea we were going to have a weeks worth of funeral episodes and everyone comes and then Fiz has to start her sympathy and blames herself for not being in the library and then blames Roy for not telling her enough. Now she's always going to be in the cafe annoying us shoving books in people's faces. As then we have to have more Kal and his dad I'm so sick of them especially her.

The whole family is totally irrelevant. Why do the soaps need to jump on the multicultural bandwagon. I am all for diversity, but I much prefer secularism. Was there any need to emphasise 'Lets go to the Rovers, the OJs are on me' by Khalid.
Yes Yasmin is a very annoying character, very hammy acting. At least when there is a Hindu family, it is secular. Much prefer Dev's family. |

TGhe quality has dropped. |

She certainly hams it up - wonder if she's a long term character?

Yes, extremely OTT, and very irritating. On another note, I can't look at her without thinking of Dorien in Birds of a Feather

Can't wait to see Mary sorting her out. It will be done very nicely I'm sure but Yasmin will get the Mary Mesage without fail!!!! Go Mary Go.
She needs to get sorted out sooner rather than later before Leanne really loses it and does something nasty to her. |

I saw the first installment of last night. Shelley King may over egg the pudding a little as Yasmeen and be a little dramatic but I don't see being as bad as some people say she is on here.

I think she is great and very easy on the eye too
Those scenes with Roy in the Library were pure gold, and here acting was definately Oscar material. The actress lift every scene with her presence and her dialogue is very competently delivered. I am pleased she will soon get a job in the Rovers, lighting up the stale atmosphere with her electrifying performances She gets a solid 9/10 a great start for the new Bet Lynch |

To be honest I think Yasmeen is meant to be OTT.
That's the impression I get, anyway. You only have to look at how she opened her heart over Khalid; if the writers give Shelley King those kind of lines then I think she'll show us how good an actor she can be. My two pence worth, anyway... |

Isn't Ken back this week? Head librarian v Street's resident book-worn and know-all. Will they get on or will it be war.
When Ken met Yazmeen! ![]() ![]() ![]() And no, I won't have what she's having!

Perhaps Kenneth and Yasmeen will embark on an affair. Then Deirdre can embark on a romance with Shariff, oh what a storyline that would be, both couples at it. Only joking, no one take this on board please.
Our Kenneth always tries to better himself by going off with some well educated woman, I'm guessing if those two were put together, the inevitable would happen and that dressing gown would put in an appearance again |

Lesley Joseph is funny and can act IMO. According to this Shelley King is very experienced but TBH I don't see it . Am I missing something?
