Helen...well BB must have known when they put her in the house that she's not very good with conflict and is always on the defensive - understandbale when your get public hate every day of the week because one of your Johns was a famous football "hero" with a pregnant wife. And she delivered the goods. But I don't think that's Helen all the time, I think that's Helen with strangers. When they become friend she is funny and loyal. And all that is happening is that we are seeing that side to her now she has settled.

I don't know why Ashleigh is top of the polls now when she's as bad as Helen ever was. Perhaps a lot of people are saving face.”

Or perhaps a lot of people simply prefer her to the others!!

Helen is an older woman with a child, she should demonstrate better standards. As for Ashleigh, some people expect her as a teenager to sit quietly in a corner and not be heard. Thank goodness she's got a bit of fire in her belly and can stand up for herself against all odds. She's a sweet girl with a bit of fiestiness in her, and strong morals.

She's never been as bad as Helen.

Helen would have been voted out ages ago if she didnt have immunity. All this fawning over her on the panel was like appeasing an abusive person. Picking the smallest 'good' part about them and then making it seem shes all good. Helen obviously has issues.

Exactly Helens story is.. given final pass we see Helen kick off regular at people , get in people faces. Insult people. Then following warnings we then get a new Helen with the old Helen briefly surfacing ocassionally.

It's not a case to me which one has behaved better or has better morals etc. I can't warm to Ashleigh at all and don't feel I've got to know her. She only seems happy when things are going her way. I wonder how she would have reacted if she got some of the unfavorable tags as Helen and some of the others did from the public poll task this week. At least Helen has the ability to laugh it off and just get on with it.

I think the panel were wrong about Helen - she is a moronic bully. However I agree with their opinion of Chris and Ashleigh.

Why can't you see the changes happened when free pass Helen of the first few weeks.

Became free pass to final Helen with formal warnings Helen.

I can see that. And I have warmed to her despite those warnings. She's been far more interesting and entertaining as a hm on a TV show than Ashleigh has.....imo of course.

Great post. I agree with this completely.

And I don't know how many times I'm going to have to point out that BB EXPECTED Helen to obey the warnings and moderate her behaviour. Obeying BB isn't some "evil plan". ANY housemate would moderate their behaviour if they received a warning.

Helen doesn't fly into a rage any more because she has calmed down, and learnt from her experience at living with a bunch of strangers.

Yes, exactly. But some of the people on DS aren't willing to see any good in Helen or any bad in Ashleigh. I wonder which of the two girls they would find would be the better and more loyal friend outside the house. Helen has been 100% loyal to Ash, where Ashleigh threw Danielle under the bus.

HARK at Ashleighs!! Didn't she say Ash was a C**T the other night, to much laughter I might add, did this forum erupt in disgust like it would have done had it been said by Helen!!

So true. It's the double standards that are really annoying.
