I'm getting sick to death of seeing everyone claiming she's changed and what a great person she is. The whole BOTS show are praising her tonight. Let's go back to reality here. Do you all remember what she was like on the first few weeks? Let's just recall some past events

-Made Chris feel uncomfortable on his first night in the house, saying she hated him and that he was disrupting a family just because he made a joke about fake people

-Immediately targeted Jale having not spoken to her at all (from our awareness), calling her a slug (based on her appearance we can presume, and which she carried on calling her for weeks) and spreading around to housemates that she rolled her eyes at Pauline, which seemed to be a misunderstanding anyway

-Constantly sat in the garden with her group, smoking, drinking heavily, talking about sex a lot, and ostracizing and intimidating anyone that refused to do the same. Certain housemates were forced to be quiet and lonely for the first two weeks just because they refused to do what she wanted to do

-Used the term 'gay' to criticize something, I'm sure we're all guilty of this but she did this knowing there were gays inside the house and several gay viewers/LGBT rights supporters

-Made Jale completely lonely at the beginning, constantly making digs at her and making her an outcast despite the fact she made no effort to get to know her and Jale did nothing to her

-Did the same to Christopher just because he got along with everyone and she considered that stirring, therefore making him a target and labelling him a 'wasp'

-When somebody dared to criticize her behavior - aka ostracizing people for not joining in with her behavior - she'd be completely awful towards them. Some examples include attacking Danielle's appearance/weight, Danielle's Catholicism, and launching a drunken foul mouthed rant against Matthew, personally attacking him on every level, JUST because he refused to get involved with a rather sexual game of truth or dare

Do you all remember this Helen yeah? Now, you all reckon she's 'changed' and gone on a 'journey'? The dictionary definition of change is 'make or become different'.

How different exactly has Helen 'become'?
We still constantly see her bitching about people, being foul mouthed about them, sat in a circle with her crew smoking/drinking/bitching/discussing sex and she still gets very aggressive with anyone that dares to criticize her behavior

'Changing' would be realizing how awful she has been, how nasty, taking responsibility for her actions, apologizing to people.

Let's get something straight here, she has not apologized for ONE bloody thing she has done in the house. It doesn't even need to be a flat out 'I'm sorry' but she has never even shown the slightest bit of remorse.

Sure, she has argued less, but let's take a look why?

-She has had several warnings from BB, so many that some couldn't even be shown to us. On the most recent warning following her violent rant to Matthew, she was told she'd be chucked out. Does that not say it all?

-There was a huge backlash against her behavior. She was chanted to hell on week 2, she was criticized by several HM's, notably a big confrontation with Toya

-The HM's she mainly had issues with were Matthew, Danielle, Ashleigh, Jale, Chris, Christopher and Toya. Matthew and Toya got evicted, Danielle kept her distance before her eviction, Christopher is keeping his distance right now, Jale she was forced to make up with because of the backlash, Ashleigh she only started being friends with due to the public reaction, and Chris had to turn up her backside.

So rather than the fact she stopped arguing, maybe the HM's stopped arguing with her?

If a HM criticized Helen the way they did in the beginning she'd be sure to act the same (maybe a bit tamer as she'd get chucked out), but they haven't because everyone has kept their distance because they're scared. Nobody has gone against her like they did in the beginning, so THAT'S why she's ranting and raving less, not because she's changed. And when a HM has dared to go against her in the slightest she HAS ranted and raved

Her aggressive reaction to Christopher not choosing her for the Christmas task?
Her nasty reaction after hearing Ashleigh's bitching?
Ranting at the BB Focus people?

It's not that she has calmed down, it's that she no longer has anyone to go against

Helen is the same nasty bitch she was in the beginning and she has not gone on the journey you'd all love her to have gone through. I think some of you need to re enter reality if you actually think she's changed for the better.

Both of these remarks hit the nail on the head for me.

This entirely sums up Helen's journey.

Well plenty of people are buying into the idea that she has learnt from her BB experience. All down to personal opinion. We can't all agree.

Journey?? Ha.

She re-shows her true side when anything happens against her. For example the way she kicked off when the public labelled her two faced and whatever else.... And the way she acted and swore when the focus group said something negative about her. If that focus group were new housemates being put in the house she would kick off with and belittle them just the way she did with others earlier in the series. She hasn't changed on the inside, the circumstances are just a little different.

Entirely agree with everything said, she has merely run out of people to argue - her true colours still come out every so often but they ignore her now - I so hope she doesnt get with Ash, he seems to nice for her

Zoe kept on about the fact that she has loads of stories. Helen has just as many but a High Court Judge has stopped her telling them

We are not all buying the edit believe me, obnoxious before, obnoxious now.

I find her outbursts funny and entertaining, now that she's not hurting people anymore. I quite like her.

But has she changed from the Helen who isolated Jale by branding her a "slug?" Just watch her laugh about "pointless Pav" and you know she hasn't changed a bit lol.

Nah, don't know what you're chatting about OP- she's deffo been on one hell of a journey. Some might even go so far as to call it a veritable roller-coaster ride for the new nations sweetheart.

It's almost been identical to watching a repeat of Pretty Woman. At times it's been hard to tell her and Julia Roberts apart.

Regardless of whether she wins or not (she won't) she's already won in the hearts and minds of this great nation.

As Emma pointed out on BBBOTS - giving HMs info about their behaviour has altered the way they behave. Helen has toned down from psycho-bitch to obnoxious cow and everybody on the BBBOTS panel now thinks she's wonderful, and that includes Stephen who knows Helen called Kimberley a tramp.

There's no accounting for taste.

In a way she's been on a journey some might not ever want to be on, from her Final Pass position. She's had to see her friends go which is a journey in iself, and not been able to do anything about it. Some might call that a Learning Curve, but it's still a journey!

I find it incredible that people think that's the reason why others may think she might deserve even a modicum of credit.
