Has anyone been counting the "percents"?

I'd love to know how many times "100%" or a greater (ie "a thousand and one percent" or "a million percent") has been used this series. Major culprits have been Steven, Danielle, Mark, Helen and Chris.

Heck, I'd even like to know how many times it's used per episode.

It's the most annoying thing, isn't it? And it seems to get worse each series now on BB. Not everything needs to be explained in percentages. Especially not above the 100% mark for sure.

it's weird, what happened to 90%, how can anyone be so certain of themselves?

she couldn't have been sure then, a million percent is the new thirty percent, Chris will start describing himself as a million percent gay soon, and ten million percent straight?

I wonder how many of them actually know that you can't get over 100%?
Because when people first started saying a 1000%, or 110%, they knew they were exaggerating for effect. But nowadays I've got the feeling that some people are so used to hearing it that they don't even know that you can't get over 100%. I bet some of them actually believe that you really can give something 1000%.

I'd love it if that became the new trend with people actually coming out with real percentages.
"I gave it 94%" or "I'm going to give it 68%"

I actually do use it, I say to people "I am ninety percent sure", maybe I'll stop doing that now as everyone will think I am just a lazy ****

This annoys me SO much! Add into that the 'to be honest" (Matthew being a big culprit of that, as well as Jale) and "I'm not going to lie" Grrrrrr, drives me mad!!

Oh God, tell me about it. That's even worse.

Or the variation "If I'm being honest".

It's like somebody admitting that they usually aren't honest, but they're treating you with a rare moment when they are being honest for a change.
I'd rather that being honest was a normal thing to them and they aren't suddenly deciding to be honest for a change.
I know that I'm being a pedant, but you know what I mean.

Had forgotten that one! Just listening to Jale's interview on Couch Potatoes (never heard of that before, the presenter is a difficult listen!) and she's said 'to be honest' and 'I'm not gonna lie' about 500 times! Struggling to keep listening even though I'm finding it interesting.

I had this discussion with a friend who couldn't understand that there is no such thing as more than 100% of a unit. Keeps saying 150%. But he says 100% when he cannot be sure. If he'd start with 60%, he might not go over 100
