Let's be honest, apart from Mark throwing his fake/screen-hogging tantrums, the remaining men in that house are wallpaper, simply watching or reacting to events created by the females all series.
So little has happened in the past few weeks, that producers have resorted to bringing in ex-HMs to slander newcomers, told them what the public think, just to create something in the house. They even put "Creepy" Chris front and centre, after he thought he was onto a winner going after the "infatuated", "unpopular crowd chants" and "snake in the grass" Pav.
Every story needs a hero/villain or two enemies, and the two remaining females (apart from Steven) have been the only talking points, but kind of drifted along in recent weeks, especially as HMs have convinced Ashleigh the cheers for her were because she settled her differences with Helen and the bad influences have left, when in truth she started gathering a fanbase with her plot to get Ash out, even if it pissed off a lot of other viewers at the time.
The two-faced/manipulative Helen revelations and the "public" forum that alluded to the Helen/Ashleigh battles would indicate producers are trying to throw hints that most viewers would prefer these two ladies apart.
And if they want to bring this story arc to a climax, the "double-crossing" could be the end they are looking for. This is how they want to wrap it up. Will Ashleigh bring Helen to her knees or will Helen get her way again?
The producers don't give a hoot which of the bland/genuine/sympathetic men the female voters want to mother most on final night.
