Babe was billed as a loveable bubbly aunt who would be lots of fun

Stan was billed as cunning and sly

It seems to me these two characters got swapped around.

----

Ronnie was billed as turning into a dark villain who would wreck lives.

She is now pregnant with Charlie's baby and left to fix herself and make things right. So I don't think psycho Ronnie is on the cards anymore

----

Charlie. Now I cant be sure but I get the impression they have also changed this storyline to enable both Charlie and Yvonne to become regular characters once Nick returns.

I think Babe can be ruthless but I don't think she is a Villain.

Maybe it was an attempt to subvert our expectations? DTC's era so far has been full of surprises.

Also, Ronnie is still a dark villain and has already ruined plenty of lives. Her having a child will not change this. It's the child I feel sorry for!

Actually Annette told DS she is a villain and will do something unforgivable at Christmas.

Exactly this. Storylines are planned well in advance, Babe knew Shirley's secret and her drug dealing was made clear from her first episodes. The full picture wasn't made clear to viewers, which is as it should be.

I don't see how the Charlie plot has changed either, I Sussex he was a good guy from his first appearances. The clues are always there if you look for them.

Where did she say that? The only thing I saw was when they asked Annette if there was anything she could tease about future story lines and she said wait for Christmas. I don't recall her saying she would do anything unforgivable.

It also said she loves and wants to protect her family, I don't see her as a villain just someone who has secrets.

I disagree that she's rotten to the core, she has major issues yes but she's clearly disturbed.

I wouldn't feel sorry for the child if I were you, it has Mitchell and Cotton genes (presumably) so it will make Chucky look like a choir boy, Bert and Ernie are the ones that need to watch themselves in the future!
