It will be hard, but we must try to bear it.

Dear me, you always sound so pre-menstrual. As one of the very few people who consistently had time for Jay, I assume you would not put me in the category of 'white working class male hating' posters.

Feel free to convince me that he didn't ramble on . At least you have some data to work with.

So there's something wrong with being a righteous, smugly-sanctimonious, grossly hypocritical, white working-class male hating self-proclaimed 'liberal' now?

On the plus side, Marcus told Big Brother to f*** off. But on the minus, he spent too long mooning around after Noirin, he didn't stick up for Freddie and he made public masturbation on reality TV acceptable, as far as the producers are concerned. That's mainly what he's remembered for, I fear - he was a w*nker.

No evidence for that, whatsoever. I kind of think it was his gross stupidity that got on people's wires.

Also, whoever typed up the transcript decided he said his last few words meekly. That's a personal interpretation.

Marcus for me is a legendary housemate. Not just for the above rant. He's one of the most likable and entertaining people to ever have appeared on the show.”

Articulate?? I think not.

Amazing housemate. Just like Pav.”

That was a good series. So much bonkers in one place. What's he going now? 10 years?

For some reason, people changed this completely in their minds into some kind of attack on Marcus which he valiantly rebutted, instead of a scene where he came across as a gigantic tit.”

Well said. This myth needs nailing once and for all.

At one point during that series I remember Nikki Grahame was sent into the house for a task and Marcus went and sat in the garden touching himself under his blanket while watching her. Given the accusations that have been thrown at Chris for having a crush I wonder how people would react to Marcus now

God, yes! They seem such huge characters compared with the recent ones.
How long ago was Dark Horse Marcus? And who remembers a brilliant thread in here about him?
That moment in the DR when he told BB to eff off. Only time my husband bothered to watch and had him cheering!

He stood and watch through the window while she jumped around looking at her ass.

I apologise, wonkey, for the curt remarks earlier. You're better than that, and so am I.

Let's consider the most depressing housemates of all time; Josie, 'Webecca' Luke, Jade, Conor; what did they have in common? They were working class. Sorry to join the dots here, but the conclusion seems obvious.

I mentioned that earlier in the thread. 3 pages for him after 5 years on. You don't get that being any old housemate.

Iconic.
