Freezer! Fridge would be a horrible allegation.

Iconic.”

YOu probably do, to be fair, unless it is someone like Kara Louise. People always like looking back at the old 'uns.

He was a massive clean freak though. There has been no other housemate since BB4 Steph so often filmed with a cloth and a can of Pledge.

Noirin liked Sree though, a thing often forgotten. When Davina asked who she hoped to stay in touch with after BB, she said Sree.

That Marcus said he wanted Lisa to win in his exit interview suggests that he didn't really have any idea about what sort of show he was on in the first place. He could have put together some kind of strategy, it wouldn't have been that difficult, but no. Instead, he just wanted to masturbate in the bathroom. There you go.”

I like to read conflicting opinions of a housemates. But I stand by my view of Marcus, as for wanting Lisa to win obviously he saw aside of her we didn't see or get. As for not knowing what a type of show he fully he knew has he stated on various occasions he applied to for other series before and did several practice runs before actually making the cut for BB10. Putting together a strategy was not what Marcus was about be purely went for the experience. For your last comment is was a necessary bodily function which he performed with aplomb, just like his whistling and nightly musing he which he did to past the late nights/early mornings give us night shift workers something to comment on. Marcus imo provided most of what I wanted from a housemate for that year.

^^^ THIS ^^^ ... and thank you sangreal for the Marcus-quotes; his one-liners and witty ripostes were very funny. Marcus was a 'free spirit', completely spontaneous, impulsive, indomitable and, indeed, irrepressible. In other words, he made utterly-fabulous telly-viewing.

Perhaps one day BB may do an 'all stars' version; wouldn't that be fab?!

Fabber than the one they did, you mean? It could hardly be less fab.

No reason to believe that Marcus would be on any all-stars though. He spent half the series in a massive sulk, was rude as hell to BB throughout, and got twice as many votes to evict as Siavash, who went on to be utterly slaughtered by Sophie.

The only redeeming thing he did was tell BB to basically eff off for implying he was racist. Kudos to him for that, but I found him and his sideburns unbearable.”

Exactly this. The night he told off BB was the only time I liked him.

As much as I never liked Marcus (only in the sense that he gave me the heebies!) and I think Pav appears to be harmless, I have to say that Pav thus far has shown no signs of being anything like Marcus was as a housemate. But I have brushed my personal feelings aside, and have to admit that Marcus truly was a good housemate (I can't believe I've just typed that!).

Can't believe Noirin didn't marry him and have a baby with him when they got out.

Sickening stuff from her.

Agree - so many good housemates, put this series to shame.

Didn't Marcus get privacy by removing a mirror in the loo?
It was very funny when the other housemates caught him.
Deffo a BB legend.

I couldn't stand him by the end. The turning point were his juvenile tantrums re Noirin and the passive-aggressive, manipulative way he messed with her head and turned on her because she didn't fancy him.

He just struck me overall as an outgrown moody teenager with big sideburns, a colossal but fragile ego and the same masturbatory habits.
