I am planning to upgrade my Home Cinema setup - I no longer like the aesthetic clutter of the bulky Sony 5.1 system ( speakers and stand ) with the further complcation of cables running under carpets.
Having searched for soundbar options I believe the Yamaha YSP-2500 is my preferred option. It seems that it offers a much more realistic surround experience than many of it's comeptitors - and whilst it is a pricier option than it's predecessor ( the 2200) I am attracted by the wireless subwoofer and addition of bluetooth technology.
Whilst I don'y have a 4K TV the 4K hdmi passthru helps future proof the soundbar.

Can anyone advise if this is a good buy, can Ii expect an enjoyable audio experience - are there other offerings I should consider ? Oh, and does anyone know the release date ( late summer is all I can find ).
