I'm looking forward to the return of Ken tonight.

Seeing as this is 100th Anniversary of World War 1 beginning, It would be lovely if they had a scene in the Rovers, with Emily, Rita, Ken, talking about it, in remembrance.

But will no doubt be a Deirdrie and Ken slanging Match, over her not telling him sod all.

That would be nice, but apparently the best they could do was have gurning Tracy selling Albert's medal and not giving a toss about it.

I doubt even Ken, Emily or Rita were around at the time of WW1 but I know what you mean

Also I wonder if Ken will know the librarian (Kal's mum), being a regular library goer he should do.

It's disappointing nothing was mentioned. I know he was wrapped up with Peter being locked up but still. Albert Tatlock was an important person in Ken's life and they were close, such a pity he never made a reference to him. And that selling the medal was meaningless as well, any excuse to shoehorn another "Tracy does something bad" plot.

Can't believe Corrie didn't do a single mention about the centenary. They pride themselves on being the world's oldest soap so why not make a remark about it? It would have been nice to have Ken speak about Albert etc. but instead all they had was Tracy & the medal.

Complete wasters.
