Thank goodness he isn't. My Family might still get ratings but it's final few series were cringeworthy is that what the BBC is about? Good ratings but awful content. The BBC were right to axe My Family it had a good run and both the actors complained about the quality of the scripts.
Itv is about chasing ratings that pays their bills. We fund BBC and at the moment I am concerned with the direction it's going. The closure of BBC 3 is a kick in the teeth for 18 to 30 year old license fee payers and presumably that content won't be gong to BBC 1 if it's all about ratings ?
