These are from ITV Media, aren't they? So they would include +1.

Share's aren't great though, more would be watching because of the weather/bank holiday but you'd think the soaps would do better because of that.

If they do include +1 then they are terrible. Does anyone have anything for the out-of-slot Neighbours and Home & Away yesterday please?

the soaps are low all around, however a case could be made for the fact that Emmerdale is at least getting similar ratings to Corrie and EE, but that is very much the bronze lining in this cloud. Ive not been away so long, that the soaps have fallen this much have I?

Really? I thought it looked like a poor rating to me.

I think the Cheryl one tonight might to around 100k better.

They are all now basically at the same level with DIRE figures. At least the BBC have DTC to fall back on who is competent enough to produce some good stuff during Winter. Looks to me like Corrie could be heading for its lowest rated period ever.

If the BBC put anything competitive against Corrie in the Winter, then its not going to hold up very well.

At least Corrie was over 7 million (just) and we all know how bad it is at the moment, I don't watch it anymore. But EE with only a 26% share is very concerning. I thought it was meant to be unmissable at the moment?

It's very good for ITV2 in that slot, considering it was against the soaps. A look on BARB suggests it is up on what the ITV2 build-up shows got last year.

Just a note that ITV Media do not tape-check and this would affect Emmerdale and the second Corrie.

Yes I am sure these buildup shows normally do 0.4M or less, so I consider that a very strong result indeed.

X Factor will come again this year. I'm sure of it.

Good timeshift for New Tricks there but it still means it's down on previous years (18% lower than last year). Judge Rinder looks very strong there.

New Tricks series debuts through the years:

2014: 7.23m
2013: 8.86m
2012: 8.52m
2011: 9.20m
2010: 7.96m
2009: 8.78m
2008: 9.24m
2007: 7.58m
2006: 7.62m
2005: 7.86m
2004: 7.51m

So it is unfortunately the lowest ever start for New Tricks. Perhaps to be expected for a show in series 11 but that seems like quite a drop from the consistent past few years (the 2010 series aired on Fridays hence the lower audience).”

I'd always imagined the first four series had had higher launches than those. Memory plays tricks. Must have been some quite low shares for the first four launches.

I think the overnights were very close to the officials back in those days so the overnights seemed more impressive at the time than the officials look now.

NT looking much better now, despite it being one of the lowest ratings in the overnights, a comfortable 7m+ in officials is not to be sniffed at in this day and age.

Rinder is like all the Christmas' coming early for ITV, this is the sort of things I like, things that get popular unexpectedly. I thought it would preform average, or at least above average at best.

Great timeshift for CBB too from 2.36m. If similar time shifts of 400k are regular, this series could be averaging 2.3m, the same as last summer and up on the summer before.

Does anyone know if Cliff Richard is portrayed in the Cilla drama?

Even so. I really can't see why ITV are not aware (and taking action) because of the low shares and ratings. Any soap that drops over 1m YOY is in need to some care and attention.

The strong audience that PC had built up over his time has been cut completely to the bare bones of the soap.

Explains the lower than usual shares for the soaps. The game would have been averaging over 2m (10%) from 8pm.

I do agree with this. Something has gone majorly wrong with Corrie this year. Those numbers last night on a wet bank holiday Monday are totally unacceptable. ITV need to step in and take action and surely it's weakening ITV overall.

As for last night. Very low return for Under The Dome. 800k. is very poor. Did it add many more on +1? As understand, the series gets worse as it goes on. The first season was good. Nothing amazing - but very watchable. Have ratings plummeted this season in American? I'm sure the first season was averaging over 10m a week.

Under The Dome has had a ratings decline and poor reviews for S2 in the US.

UTD first season averaged at 11m and its final was watched by a large 12.10m. Then the 2nd season began with 9.41m and now its currently averaging 6.5-7.5m. But its the demo which is more important. In general S1 was getting demos of around 2.6, S2 has been getting demos of 1.5.

Itv has spent hundreds of thousands of pounds on a new set for XFactor Live Shows this Autumn for the first time since 2008. They are going all out to try and beat Strictly Come Dancing in the all-important Saturday Night Ratings War.

Louis Walsh has already declared a ratings war against SCD this year, claiming the dancing show is "for old grannies only".

Fun fact for fact fans: Louis Walsh isnt the Irishman's real name. His real name is Michael Vincent.

The X Factor lot are doing my head in. SCD is a family show at the end of the day with varied audience and he should never say things like that. What he done is probably put people off X Factor with comments like that
