Have these shows started? I'd like to record them. ”

Bit non plussed about CSI Cyber, I would think they'll pick it up but NCIS New Orleans would be a better show to pick up

With Wentworth doing good, I would like to see them pick up another Australian drama like Love Child or the upcoming The Killing Field

I could see Sky pinching it too, though. Five should really go after NCIS:NO. Secrets & Lies is fantastic, got in my head, but unfortunately the ratings aren't showing it.

I would've suggested ABC1's The Code, but BBC Four have got that according to TV Tonight.

After the Saturday show (including the filming of the Results Show) has finished, both Len Goodman & Bruno Tonioli fly out to Los Angeles to appear as judges on Dancing With The Stars.

How are ITV not embarrassed by it, especially when it goes out between Emmerdale and EastEnders, two soaps that are going from strength to strength right now?”

well that is a point of view i suppose. it all depends on what you want from your continuing drama. you have hollyoaks with sisters kissing brothers, you have emmerdale which has turned into the 'village of the damned' i half expect jack nicholson to turn up in the dales and you have eastenders with their big dramatic storylines with fires, guns, weddings and family secrets that are ott. at least with corrie we get a bit of the mundane. i love the mundane, it makes a refreshing change. i loved sally going on about the aerial on the roof and the fact she wanted to watch telly. things that we ordinary joe's can relate to and get p****d off about. imagine that happening before strictly tonight.

i don't think itv are for one second embarrassed by corrie and you know if push came to shove which soap they would save. no contest.

my main concern for corrie is that itv will read some of the comments on sites like ds and panic and have too many sensational over the top storylines. i personally don't want to see any more stunts, fires, serial killers, murders on the cobbles for a very long time, if ever. i have been a critic of the hat, perhaps i have been too harsh, following the rabble on here too much. if stuart can stick to corrie's strength, the ordinaryness of every day life, have character lead story's rather than issue based storylines i will be happy. i am not looking forward to the faye pregnancy storyline and i hear a big stunt is planned for january. itv need to stop trying to compete with the likes of eastenders. eastenders is good at what it does and corrie needs to stick to what it does best.

Forgot about that, that explains it then. They could pre-record I suppose, but I don't think they like to do that for the actual dancing, as it could lead to questions of fairness. Them having the ability to edit dances to make celebrities look better would lead to complaints from certain places, they wouldn't do it obviously, but just the suggestion could cause problems.

I enjoyed tonight's X Factor! Love the harsness of the 6 chair challenge the industry is a lot worse! If they can't back it then they shouldn't have applied. it was all over Facebook.

I thought TXF tonight was good also The crowd were a bit noisy but the episode itself was far better than the auditions.

TXF is much more cut throat than the softy softy Voice

Big time agree! This is why the X Factor produces stars as they really put them through it!

Both shows will be down this year. They have nothing new to offer. It is also good to hear that I am not a sheep

I thought the original premise of Pop Idol was to show people exactly how cut-throat the music industry could be and The X Factor picked that up once it replaced the original show.

I thought the show was fine tonight but we need to hear more singing and less of the crowd. I think the Telegraph's critic must have seen his best friend go home or something for such a response. There have been worse episodes of the show.

Strictly was good tonight too but they're only going to hurt each other. The second of numerous pointless clashes which will pollute the Saturday schedules this autumn.

For someone who's so pro-BBC, he's posted more posts about The X Factor than anything on BBC1 all year (bar Tumble).

TXF is so powerful even Samuel can't get enough of it. Cowell has him under his spell.

I notice there has been no mention of last nights ratings. ITV must have done well.

I think it would be better to show DIY SOS repeats for the next two Thursdays, and burn Your Home in Their Hands off on BBC Two daytime.

Good shout.

Your Home In Their Hands is D.O.A. It could even be sub-2m next week. Deservedly so, as it's a steaming pile of cack.

It's not good enough to be called a steaming pile of cack. How on earth did this get commissioned? What was Charlotte Moore thinking? What was Mark Linsey thinking? It started low and will probably go lower. A real gift for ITV.

I don't think there are enough viewers around on Friday to give Strictly and X Factor those ratings opposite each other.
