Guns beat fires for ratings. Why did this week's story work better than the fire? Or was it a continued upwards move for the show across two weeks?
Also I do like the fact that it's a storyline with longstanding characters boosting the ratings. Give them good storylines and they can still be effective.

Didn't expect EastEnders to do that well on Friday. The share and numbers are good. Hopefully they can do well next week too.
This is the rating EastEnders SHOULD be getting. 7m on the BBC1 showing alone and not having to use a BBC3 number to get them over 7m or the excuse of most are watching on iPlayer.
