I wish the tasks were less degrading.

Does anyone agree? I know it's part of the package that comes with the show, but I don't see the need to make Christopher dress up as a pig and do a webcam show being submissive to Luisa. It wasn't entertaining and I skipped the rest of it. I don't remember them being this degrading in the beginning, the mantra seems to be 'humiliate them in every way we can!' and it can be uncomfortable to watch, as I am sure the Chris/Ashleigh grooming thing will be.

Personally I would find it better to watch if they were having fun rather than being humiliated.

Yeah I don't like the humiliating and/or gross tasks. If I were them I would refuse to do it. The weight lifting one was another disgusting task and the bit where Winston had a lap dance forced on him just seemed a bit wrong to me. The Luisa one as well crossed the line with Pav I thought.

Couldn't agree more. The production team must be a bunch of morons on a gap year from school. The tasks are childish and humiliating in the extreme. That one with Chris and Ashleigh was all shads of wrong.

The one last night with the dog food and fish was pretty disgusting, I don't enjoy these vomit inducing tasks at all.
Bring back the endurance ones like the bike / pedalo pedalling, much more fun.

I agree too. I don't understand why the tasks all have to do with our sense of physical revulsion or border line sleaze.

I'm not a prude at all but there is a lot of pressure on the HMs to comply and it feels like they are being exploited (yes I am aware it is Big Brother!).

I agree that the tasks are childish and seem to be designed to inflict as much humiliation on the housemates as possible. The strong housemate challenge was just pathetic.

Lack of imagination amongst the task team. The odd thing is one of most memorable tasks was also simple and one of the most basic - sit under a box.

I absolutely hate those tasks, they are not FUN to do or watch.
Remember the tasks we used to watch simple tasks that had us in stitches watching them on LIVE FEED of coarse

I wish they would all refuse to do something thats humilitating.

I agree, and the producers seem to take every opportunity to antagonise and cause arguments. It's blatantly obvious when they are trying to pit them against each other!

I agree with the opening premise.

However, like a lot of my wishes - the human race to become tolerant of each other despite colour, creed, religion, gender, class, education, Bill Gates to arbitrarily state that I am his long lost relative and settle many millions on me immediately, Aidan Turner to decide that my bedroom is the place he'd most like to be in the world and the Goodewife and son to be catapulted into the far galaxies, it's not going to happen.

Having been put into a state of mild 'Oh my eyes my eyes, dear god spare me the pain' of seeing Lionel Blair in pvc telling people to 'suck his dick', I think I have now become desensitised to any additional horrors that may come my way.

Just for old times's sake..

Exactly like the Chris and Ashleigh task from yesterday that may or may not be shown on tonights highlights. It's awkward to watch you could see neither of them were comfortable but they feel like they have to do it as if you don't do it you become a target for nominations

BIB that line is what matters. Housemates can have fun even in tasks like that ........Unfortunately Luisa has neither the wit nor the imagination to make it work .

I agree - the episode recently with Helen having to read out nasty things said about her etc. was really off putting. It just feels like we're watching people being bullied by BB. The pressure of BB is already a lot to take, and forcing them to make repeated judgements about one another (e.g. who is the most irritating etc.) is pretty extreme when you think about it. In every day life you don't get people telling you all about your bad points this much - generally just occasionally. If it's not occasionally then in real life it's considered bullying.

I did actually like the endurance tasks -or elaborate ones (prison task BB7 springs to mind) but I guess there has been a budget cut.

Mind you, standing by a fire pit is not an expensive task (unless a fire unit was on standby).

I hate the gross and degrading tasks - put simply - they're not entertaining.

Bring back the standing on plinths or under cardboard boxes for as long as you can. They used to do art tasks as well, they were always really entertaining, when they had to do portraits of each other.

Yea the Chris and Ashleigh one being shown in tonights show is wrong .. an 18 year old girl being groomed by a 33year old man is wrong and not good tele. Why not give that task to the 2 sharing a bed - Helen + Ash .. who would of took it as abit of banter and not felt uncomfortable.

Yeah. Nothing enjoyable about watching people utterly degrade themselves.

The Louisa task I could barely watch - I was hoping they would refuse.

I agree, I wonder if you mean across the board!! or is it the particular Hms involved that causes concern, ie if it was Helen would you feel the same??

I agree. Which is easier - make housemates eat/smear revolting stuff etc., or think up interesting and imaginative tasks? It's no surprise that the lazy unimaginative and creatively challenged Endemol staff choose the former.

Indeed there is a lot more to being a dominatrix than having a vicious tongue.

It crossed the line with both Christopher & Pav......Even, Winston looked uncomfortable !

The Luisa involvement made it seedy - all about promoting her & using them......tacky

It's not a lack of budget thing it's simply a lack of imagination and obviously a bunch of low-life chavs making the decisions on what tasks to do.

I used to so look forward to the tasks but there's no joy in these just a huge amount if cringing embarrassment.

PLEASE STOP BIG BROTHER.
