Drivers queuing for the roadworks a mile ahead, who can't just sit in a neat line on the left but instead each overlap the car in front by a few inches meaning that the majority are stopped on or over the centre line, meaning that my otherwise enjoyable cycle commute up the middle of the road as I pass that jam becomes one of stop-start slotting in to avoid on-coming traffic. You're not going anywhere, you can't see any further as the road has a gentle curve to the left; why not leave a safe gap for cycles & motorcyclists?

Interesting to see the same vehicles that I passed not passing me again until ~11 miles up the road.

Seeing someone able-bodied board a bus with plenty of spare seats throughout sit straight down in the reserved 'special needs' seat right behind the driver and not budge when an elderly person boards the bus.
And for some reason it is nearly always women I see doing this.

I know roundabouts in Milton Keynes are a bit of a national joke but they work damnit. They removed a bunch from the city centre a few years ago and replaced them with traffic light crossings, they're awful! I swear they cause more traffic than they solve.

If they were honest that they are effectively just a media arm of the Republican party designed to promote Murdochs interests / any lobbyists that pay them I might be able to stomach them, but they portray themselves as giving 'the full story' and giving 'real America' the facts.

They basically start with a simple news story, have an ill informed paid 'analyst' on to blame liberals and support whichever lobbyist pays them the most, then that utter asshat Hannity comes on and does a follow up report, using the paid 'analyst' media hack from earlier to support a claim that 'some experts are concerned about x'. By the time Colonel Feckwit Bill O'Reilly is on in the evening the fear and propaganda has been ratcheted up to 11, with clips of the cheap low rent hack analyst and Hannity's utter rubbish to support O'Reillys 'MILLIONS OF ORDINARY AMERICANS ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THIS.'

I think Fox have built a fantastic propaganda machine, it's just incredibly worrying that so many people are indoctrinated to believe that it constitutes news of any sort.

The Avon woman who keeps putting catalogues through my letter box. Even when I put them straight into the bin she just puts another through 2 weeks later.

Surely she must get the hint that there is no catalogue to collect from my doorstep and that I don't wanna buy the overpriced Avon junk.

I did a few double shifts including night shifts over last two weeks. Now I'm back to normal working hours (7AM to 6PM), my sleeping hours are completely out of sync.

I know it'll take a week or two before I don't feel so punch drunk during day and a bunny on crack during night. This kind of adjustment drives me nuts. It gets harder as I get older, too.

There’s a woman at work who is considering entering a triathlon next year – a very very tiny one (200m swim, 7k bike, 2.5k run) in comparison to the olympic triathlons some of my friends do. And she’s making such a huge song & dance about it – she’s bought a new bike, she’s looking at buying a tri-suit, she’s detailed all the “training” she’s got to do for it… I understand that it might be a big deal for her, but the whole office doesn’t need updating every single day. The actual event is in June next year, so it’s not as if it’s going to let up any time soon.

Waterstones customer service - NONE EXISTENT. Needed help so called them up - to receive a vast empty void of silence.

These designers I work with asked me to send over my design at 500dpi - my scanner could only do 600dpi so I chose that. Then they email me saying the dpi isn't high enough :S Gonna scan it in at 1000dpi next time - it's getting ridiculous now this will be the 3rd time I'll scan it in.

Why can't things just work first time around?

And the Editor is being really annoying about my recent article so I'm gonna have to edit that and well end up having it sent back and forth. Fine I'll make some changes to it but the passion of the original article will be gone.
