We bought a tower fan from Amazon a couple of months ago that got excellent reviews all round except for one guy who liked the actual fan but only gave it one star because he had to screw on the base himself - it took me less than two minutes to do this when ours arrived.”

That's where I saw the review. There's been loads on there that have given low ratings for stupid reasons, I remember someone gave an item a one star because it arrived too early. There's a flipping separate bit to review the packaging etc users want to know about the item itself not whether you were planning on being in the house to receive it.

Those are great!

The 'Bic for Her' pen reviews are also hilarious.

People who review things when they haven't used them irritate me. I always click the unhelpful button.

The cashier at WH Smith who, after I said I didn't need a bag, tried to offer me a reusable bag.

The reason I didn't need a bag? I already had one and had clearly opened it so that I could put my mags into it.

9 kitchens? Why in the name of Zeus's armpit would anyone need 9 kitchens in a house?

Ebay... people that put a bid in about 2 mins before the item ends, they then win the item, then take an AGE to pay. I've been waiting 2 days so far for a payment.

Surely if the person was sat at the PC and bid 2 mins before the item ended, they could manage to wait 2 mins to pay?! Annoying.

I always laugh at the ad where the woman waffles on about how brilliant her mother has been over the years and that she wanted to do something extra special for her birthday.

Her solution - send her a Moonpig card!

Really? Hate to think what she'd have got if she was an average mother!!!

You need a steamer, it works on timer, my hubby bought me one about four years ago, it sat in a cupboard for four years unopened until last month when I decided to break it in, I use it all the time now, does great corn on the cob, cauliflower which is soft without being mushy and full of water, love it!

Comedy gold

I'm tempted to buy some Gummi Bears after reading the reviews. At work, folks will buy a tin of sweets or biscuits and leave them in the coffee room so everyone can have some. However, we have a few greedy buggers who will descend on any treat like a plague of locusts and devour as much as they can and take the rest back to their offices.
Some Gummy Bears might sort them out...along with some "Out of Order" signs for all the nearest toilets

Really annoyed. I worked for a company were some work (I did) got published, and I've nicely asked time and time again for them to post me a copy of the issue (which they said they would do) and they aren't listening.
I want a copy - I need it for my portfolio.
