Seeing clothing items for sale that you like, that are in every single size but your size.

The fact that my lips keep peeling all the time and anything I do to try and help them (e.g. Vaseline) just ends up making them worse. This condition often causes nasty shadows on my lips that look horrible.

I went into town with the hope of reading newspapers in the library. Unfortunately, they had already removed the papers I wanted to read from the shelf (which wasn't too much of a surprise) so I effectively paid £2 (the bus fare into town) solely for a walk home. Oh, and I got soaked during said walk home.

I'm guessing you've already tried different lip balms? I have dry skin and have found the lip balms with SPF in them to be most effective - whatever the weather.

I keep getting tiny bits of dry skin on my eyelids, no idea how to stop it. I end up exfoliating my eyelids (with water) every morning, then putting on moisturiser but it doesn't stop it.

Some annoying things.
-Drivers who feel the need to drive through puddles splashing you on a rainy day.
-Tangled up chargers!!
-When someone answers the phone with absolute rudeness in their voice!

To be fair, the Vikings were a very well travelled bunch;…….but to think they ever said “Au contraire, mon ami “ is ludicrous.

“Haddaway an’ shite, man!” in their best Geordie accent would be far more historically accurate.

I agree with all three. I have to add a point regarding the last one: in these days of loads more people having Caller Display and Contacts Lists on mobiles and landlines, it's especially annoying when they answer with rudeness - they know who's calling, and that's so damn annoying. If they don't want to speak to me, they should just not answer, or tell me they're busy at the moment when they do answer.

And about chargers: my pet peeve is ear bud headphones. All I did earlier today was put my ear buds on my desk, nice and straight, nice and flat. When I picked them back up 10 minutes later, it looked like a kitten had been attacking them for a few days. It took me ages to get the tangles out. I seriously don't understand how it happens. My son bought a pair of non-tangling ones, but it's a misnomer. They still do.

I used to have the same with my lips and my friends daughter recommended Molton Brown vitamin lip saver. It's pricey but works well for me! Saying that, only use it a couple of times a day or it dries your lips out more.

With the eyes, I had severe eczema a few years ago across my eyes. I got steroid cream from my doctor as it was so bad. Doublebase (you can wash with it or use it to moisturize) was good when I stopped the steroid cream and I was prescribed a cream called 50/50 which made me much more comfortable.

When I write an email in hotmail for e.g a wall of text, on the draft version it puts line separations/spaces in. So if I manually put a space in between a few lines of the email, the formatting looks bad on the draft version.

Why don't they look the same? And what version of the email is the recipient going to see?

No, definitely Doublebase. It's in a white bottle with purple writing, I had it on prescription and I think the formula may be slightly different to the one you can buy, I found it to be really good. You have to ask a pharmacist for it, not usually on the shelf.

Petroleum products are very bad for the skin (as you've found out). Try something like shea butter instead.

I read a book last night called Top 100 Rock artists/bands.
First page was Abba (wtf) and one of the middle pages was Madonna.
Also as much as I like the music of Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin they surely cannot be classed as rock music.
The intro talked about wanting to include influential bands, yet no Joy Divison, no The Cure and no The Smiths.
I'm not sure what crack the author was smoking.

That I can receive the channel ITV Be which is full of -Z listers and people who are utter embarrasments, but I can't recieve ITV Encore which is full of mysteries and whodunnits (the sort of programmes I like!).

Seeing a woman, of whatever age, wearing too much make-up. No need to plaster it on!

My hand tremors. They're making photography and holding binoculars a bloody nightmare at the moment. Plus my once beautiful handwriting now resembles chicken scratch I keep pressing the wrong parts of my tablet and things keep popping up or shutting

The woman I sit next to at work who came in at ten to 10, decided it was far too warm in here and fired up a great big fan to full blast and now I'm sat here freezing.

I could have written all that myself, kivi. I have the same frustrating problem although I don't have a discernible tremor. I expect that it is my age - I will be 73 in April - but when I compare my writing to a few years back, it has really deteriorated. Mrs A says that it is still as neat as ever, but I think that she is just being kind.

As I say, no tremor, but my hands just won't write neatly any more, and like you, it resembles chicken scratch.

Whenever I'm trying to concentrate or study something, my cat sits next to me and washes/licks herself very noisily. That licking noise drives me insane, I love her but I sometimes put her out of my room as it's so annoying.

Also my chest hurts/aches for some reason, I want to be a flat chested 10 year old again -then I won't have this problem.

Your colleagues sound really irritating, reminds me of how I prefer to work alone.

What pisses me off is you do hours of research, have a strong interview and then a few days later the vacancy is back online pretty much saying 'yeah the candidates we previously saw were a bit rubbish' or something.

Honest to god I cannot think of anything I could have done in my last interview to improve it. Maybe jump across the table and seduce the interviewer. FFS. I do not want to think of how many hours of my life I have wasted researching spineless companies who in the end don't even have the courtesy to send you a rejection email.

Thank you for your comment, Alycidon. I'm only 30, but I have rheumatoid arthritis which has just screwed my hands up over the past year or two. I'm also on medication for another condition that has the side effect of a tremor and a weak grip. I do try to laugh about it when I can - I seem to have a talent for accidentally throwing mugs up in the air or dropping things when I get a bad episode

Bbclassics, I know exactly what you mean. I've had many a strange interview in my time. It's also a kick in the teeth when you find out who did get the job and wonder who the hell they slept with! The amount of jobs up here that aren't advertised as well is ridiculous. It always goes to friends / family of the business owners. Frustrating to the extreme.

Poor kiviraat! You're such a kind, helpful person and I'm so sorry for you. It's a debilitating condition. You are very brave and I'm going to be extra nice to you from now on!
