What do you put down as method of delivery because it bugs me no end when people use the phrase "other courier" (or something equally ambiguous)

Zips and buttons on certain clothing. On a man's jacket the zip fastener is on the left and for a woman's jacket on the left. On a man's shirt the buttons are on the right, but on the left for a woman. Just why. Why not make this type of clothing unisex. And as most men are right handed, I would have thought it would be easier to do a jacket zip up from the right.”

Agreed - IIRC it's because, historically, women had dressers so the fastenings were on the other side.....about time this was changed, surely!

When people take ages to reply to a message, makes me think 'have I said something wrong?' Very annoying.

In Victorian times pink was considered a manly virile colour so it's nothing more than a fad that it's presently considered effeminate. It will doubtless change again, as all things must.

Stop signing your posts!

Your name is Mark...we get it. It's a bit bleeding obvious by the user name at the side of your post.

Sorry rant over.

I meant zip fasteners were on the right for woman's jackets.

LOL - so it's really for us to get our baps out quickly in a boob-related emergency? That's fab!

Not quite sure if I just avoided being run over by inches/nanoseconds when I hesitated before crossing at the green man and a lorry jumped the lights.

Not nitpicking at all. Colours simply can't be effeminate. If you meant that pink worn by a man make him look effeminate, you should have said so. Though I still wouldn't agree with you, as it's a very outdated attitude.

Well a sensible seller would do that to ensure that the buyer actually received the item/speed up payment.

Drivers who don't slow down to let me cross the road, I know I have no rights there since there's no crossing, but I'm not walking for an extra 20 minutes up the road and back to get home, I'm not exactly going to saunter across. Hats off to the kind folk who do flash me, I repay you with a hand held up.

That's another peev, when a driver lets someone go and whoever is crossing doesn't even acknowledge them, I even thank bus drivers in the bus station, they didn't have to let me cross but they did.

not all sellers have your sensibility, and I get doubly miffed when they don't answer my pleasant "can you expand on this 'other courier' thing" question.

I love the whole 'raising of a hand as a thanx for stopping' thing, such a simple way of saying "we're all in this together", well, maybe that's going a bit too far but .....
