This really annoys me at work. We have a huge 5 layer car park and on weekends is 90% empty, but you can guarantee that no matter where I park somebody is always right up against my drivers door, with 10 spaces free either side.

It's worse because they are usually the Eastern European agency workers who don't respect property and bang their clapped out car doors in to those that are looked after!

I came on here to complain about the same thing as I'm coming down with one, although my reason for being annoyed isn't trivial. My sister is having a major operation in 3 weeks so I need to stay away from her. I don't want to risk her catching anything and delay the op

Endless scrolling is one of the worst inventions on the internet as far as I'm concerned. Only topped by autoplay background music I go on tumblr a lot and when they introduced endless scrolling they gave you the option in your settings to turn it off and stick with pages, more sites should offer the same thing

Exactly! It doesn't matter if you buy a high quality or low quality blue towell, it will shed bits until the day you bin it.

Oh no, that's a bit pants. Hopefully you'll get over it very quickly and be able to see her before she has the surgery...

Colds are the bane of my life I hate them. It's what to target first, the headache, the sore throat, the aching limbs, the coughing, the sneezing, the snot...

Its not about 'man up you pussy, its 'just' a cold' its just every bit of your body generally feels like utter, utter shit and wha tto do for the best.

In work its either 'oh go home you look like shit' or its 'He's off work? WITH A COLD? What a tit' You cant win.

I know - I'm off today. It's my first day off sick in 2 years - with a COLD! I feel very guilty but couldn't face an hour's drive with a blinding headache and 7 hours of meetings. Trying to tell myself that everyone involved should be glad that I've spared them the coughing, spluttering, snotting and general unpleasantness by keeping it to myself!

Never had time off with a cold before...

Personally, I'd rather not have your germs. Whilst they're generally nothing overly serious for me, as an asthmatic, they just seem to last forever. And so does the cough.

If you're ill, you're ill.

I never understand this. Or when you are in a virtually empty supermarket car park and some idiot comes and parks right next to you.

When people say anyways instead of anyway. Why plural? Doesn't make sense.

I remember my mate Nigel going to the police and telling them his orange bike had been robbed when we were kids. It was green.

He really struggles with traffic lights.

That being adressed as "mate", which was slightly annoying seems to have been replaced by "bud", which is extremely annoying

That irritating 'fake out' reality TV show judges do. It's been so overdone it doesn't trick anyone anymore.

Eg:

"That wasn't good...........it was amazing"

"I'm so sorry........but we want you you to stay here for one more week"

"I've hoped you have packed your bags and said your goodbyes........because we're going to LA!"

People at work who are relentlessly cheerful at 5.45 am, especially before a 12 hour shift and the first day of our 4 on 4 off working week!

At that time in a morning I just want to quietly walk through the building, get changed and report to that weeks area. Perhaps with the odd good morning, alright? and hello for politeness.

But some people are bouncing around and expecting a full conversation as though it's midday and they haven't just had 4 hours sleep.

I really do want to tell them to go away and we'll talk when I'm awake, preferably after break.

People who I've never met before calling me "darling" - like the bus driver this morning.

I think the extremely annoying "bud" has been usurped by the even more extremely annoying "bruv".

I hate being called 'bud' or 'bruv' perhaps it's a regional thing as most people here in the north midlands call you 'mate' which is fine. The factory I work in has a lot of people from Europe, the Middle East, India and Pakistan and they usually refer to you as 'my friend' I assume when they were taught English they were told that mate is a slang word for friend.
