My husband made himself a toasted cheese and ham sandwich last night, when I went to bed I asked him to wash up. Came down this morning and all he had done was put a nonstick frying pan in the dishwasher knowing full well it gets handwashed and left everything else in the washing up bowl and crumbs and cheese all over the side.

His slobbishness and laziness is really beginning to annoy me.

Bearing in mind Obama has deported 2.5M during his time in office what's the issue?

They played, for example, Ellie Goulding's Your Song and Lily Allen's Somewhere Only We Know.

Really? That's a new one on me, I don't think I've ever seen anyone put 'save' on their comments apart from you

He's definitely Hiler #2 so best get used to that popular opinion.
Now our own little hitlers met him and made the brits look like fascists too.

People who have their Christmas decorations up - on November the 15th!

(I love Christmas, but I wouldn't even consider putting them up this early.)

Try them as suppositories.

No thanks!

Found the best way is to let them melt into a gelatinous mess in the mouth and quickly push em down with water.

Robbie Williams - Love My Life

Why aren't radio stations bothering with any of these songs? They should at least be playing the new Robbie Williams song. It's in the iTunes top 10 for goodness sake. I really don't get it.”

Isn't that on the John Lewis advert? Maybe they don't play it as it gets enough exposure on TV

My contribution to the discussion : People getting sad and emotional over christmas adverts. These are adverts that end up trending on youtube too, and get lots of views on there. Usually they are filmed with background music featuring animals, cartoons or depictions of 1st world war soldiers in clean uniforms kicking a football around in no mans land......Now if only a program about real war and whats behind wars would go out on primetime tv at 8 pm.....i bet that wouldnt get 10 million views though, and that says a lot.

I find it crazy that some people get emotional or sentimental over what is an advert and is ultimatley fake, filmed in a studio with background music and actors yet....children and innocent people get blown to bits in far off lands, syria etc....well do they get as emotional over that ?

And all these adverts are really trying to do is get their brand name in your head or get people talking about them at work or at school, ie: have you seen that cool ad for......'Sainsburys etc' And look, ive just given them some free publicity !

Im not saying it actually annoys me intensely, or even that much at all. Just thought id mention it

A lack of brown shoe polish.

Three different shades of "tan" in stock yet empty spaces where the brown should be.

The music BBC Radio Merseyside play is 99.99% old. Lots and lots of 50s, 60s and 70s, Tamla Motown repeated ad infinitum and for some reason only No.1 hits. Don't get me started on Billy Butler's love of crap country music. They're living in the last century.

There's a programme on Mansfield 103.2 on a Sunday night at 6pm that plays music from the 50's - 80's which is actually quite good.

However after every song, advert break or anything else he says "You're listening to Mansfield 103.2 The home of great music"
Every time in the same tone, no deviation at all, under any circumstances ever!

I say haitch. Irish people tend to do so.

I saw an article a few years back that said that while the BBC Style Guide remained Aitch, new broadcasting recruits would be allowed to use Haitch.
This was because so many people have grown up that way and can't or won't change.
