I've been up all night because my 8-year-old wouldn't sleep after a nightmare (thank you, The Mummy). So I'm tired, cranky and my English is all over the place, which ruins my plan to do some paperwork today.

When my hoovers playing up. I will hoover the living room so it looks spotless and as soon as i turn it off and go to wheel it back to its corner theres a pile of dust, crumbs and fluff underneath where the hoover was! It sucks up the dirt but doesnt do it enough for everything to go inside the hoover, so you end up just collecting a rooms worth of dirt in one place.

In the kitchen it wont hoover at all on the lino. I have to hoover to get it all in one place and then use a dustpan and brush to sweep it all up.

The only way to hoover and not be left with leftover bits its to use the pipe but that takes ages. For the rug though thats the only option.

I wish i had a better hoover!

Only 16?? I dunno about you (and Takae), but when just ONE of my cats gets a mad five minutes on her, she sounds like she's got 16 paws, not four. Then when the other three cats join in (just because), it sounds like a full cattery in our house.

Ugh, was looking forward to today because we are going out to a friends later for a bonfire, and im looking forward to it because i missed it last year because i was ill.

Yesterday i was feeling rough and today ive got a full blown cold. Im now building up the energy to shower but i just feel awful. Ears feel blocked, throat is sore, head is thumping and my nose wont stop running.

Im just so frustrated that of all the days to be ill it has to be today! I dont know whether to go and out on a brave face or cancel and stay home.

Why is it that whenever you have something planned thats when you become unwell? Im usually fine but whenever theres a night out or something important i become like the living dead! Every bloody time!

I feel your pain - I used to live next door to a couple who used to wait until around 3am to regularly stage loud, shrieking arguments. The buggars never seemed to go to sleep - why on earth people feel the need to be up and causing a racket at that time of night is beyond me. Why don't people go to bed and fall asleep like everyone else? Complete mental cases IMO.
