One person moaned that they could hear traffic from the main road the hotel was facing onto. What do you expect the staff to do? Form a road block?

Maybe theyve twigged that its far better to get married abroad and have a honeymoon in one than it is to spend thousands of pounds feeding and entertaining people you arent really fussed about.

If you want a night out with your mates you can always organise one, rather than expect a couple getting married to fund it.

Why on earth not? I always appreciate it when a gentleman opens a door for me or offers his seat on public transport. Just because this is the twenty first century it doesn't mean that simple etiquette and good manners should be ignored. Women/ladies have always been the fairer sex, sometimes the weaker sex and should be treated as such, no matter what age or standing. Shame on you!

Not sure if you're being serious (hey, it's DS), but I'd be blimmin insulted if someone stood up for me unless there was a genuine reason. Opening doors is different. I would expect anyone of any gender to hold a door open for the next person if they're close enough.

When my boss gives me work to do, and it takes a few days and when I send my report he says "did you not test X?" erm no you told me to test Y and Z but not X "oh, I must've told you wrong, I wanted X and Z doing" oh yeah, fine i'll just bin three days work and do it all again, but if that's what you choose to pay me to do then that's fine, bu tI know he'll get onto me towards the end of the week asking about other projects and if I dare say "it's coz I had to repeat that other stuff" he'll do me for being cheeky.
