My earphones. Nice Skullcandy in-ear buds, give a pretty good sound and they weren't expensive. But I swear they are alive. Every time I try to pick them up the buds grip onto something or the other end has burrowed under something, or else the flex has somehow tangled itself into a Gordian knot. Are Skullcandy using very thin snakes in the manufacturing process?

The banter on Live CDs always being at track end, rather than track start.
So for example on 'Nirvana MTV Unplugged in New York', or Fleetwood Mac's The Boston Box, the track gets to the end of the song and then the singer talks about the following track. If you are playing a live album on shuffle you hear them talking about the song, and you think great I'm looking forward to hearing that song, but then the shuffle happens and the song never plays.

And trying to untangle it, the rubber bud comes off, bounces 3 times and rests at the most inaccessible spot it can find

I admit I usually have to use both hands. I have fairly small hands and the various buttons on our remotes are too numerous and too far apart for me to reach them all with my thumbs.

My daughter uses the phrase "pocket trolls" to describe what happens when you carefully wind your earphones up, put them in your pocket, and pull them out 5 minutes later to find them in a knot that had you done it deliberately would have taken 6 hands and the better part of 3 hours.
