Oh god, I understand completely. I haven't had mine cut since June because noone listens. Last time I got it done before a wedding and I told the hairdresser AT LEAST three times that I don't use shampoo (I have really curly hair and only use conditioner). What did she do? Slapped shampoo on my head. Undone months of work and took ages to get the frizz to disappear and get my curl pattern back. Also told her not to cut my fringe much as it curls really tightly when dry. She cut bloody inches off of it and now I still need to use kirby grips to hold it down as it's about three inches shorter than the rest of it. I'm gonna wait until I'm in Manchester in April and go to someone who specializes in my hair type. Damnit.

Maybe you're just unlucky and live in a place where many people are up to no good.

Recipes that state quantities in cups, and spoonfuls, instead of by weight! It's particularly annoying in baking recipes, because baking has to be precise. One recipe I looked at today said 2 3/4 cup of flour. Whoever wrote that is precise down to a fraction of a cup, but the cup itself could be any size. Does this not cross their minds?!

Was it an American book? I'm not a cook but I know they use cup sizes over there. It wouldn't be any old cup I think they are measuring cups of fixed sizes.

Aww. Commiserations.

My trivial annoyance today is being instructed to wear his nibs fave jockstrap in expectation of some action while we're out. No he says he's feeling unwell.

It was an online recipe, but now you say it, it was American. I'm off to Google what size a "cup" is now

When you go to read comments to something on Facebook and are met with a list of random names because people can't be arsed to share it with their friend using the share button and just type their friends name as a comment instead!

you can get a set of measuring cups from most supermarkets/ department stores. They are really handy especially if for whatever reason you don't have scales or for liquids. Also a set of measuring spoons come in very handy too

People who beep to my neighbours Every Single Time they drive past my house. Rude, inconsiderate and unnecessary. I may invest in a spike-strip and wreck all their tyres.

The new Smart meters we had installed last week for our Electricity and Gas supplies. Neither of them are picking up a signal to work. Why didn't Ovo tell us they might not work? Can't even email Ovo as it is not recognizing our customer number. For anyone thinking of changing to these smart ? meters check if you are in a good spot for them first.
